    Abstract: A system is proposed for observing nocturnal activities and temperature variation of a living target during daytime. The system includes an observation box, an imaging device, and a near infrared (NIR) source unit. The observation box allows passage of near infrared, blocks passage of visible light, and contains and covers the living target. The imaging device includes a first image capturing module to capture a thermal image of the observation box using far infrared, and a second image capturing module to capture an image of the observation box using visible light and of the living target using near infrared. The NIR source unit projects near infrared toward the observation box for enhancing near infrared reflected by the living target.

    Abstract: An integrated endoscope and visualization system comprises an endoscope, a visualization processing module and a 3D display device such as smart-glasses or naked-eye 3D display. The endoscope is equipped with two image capturing modules such as CMOS image sensors and can be disposable. The visualization processing module receives and encodes the images obtained by the two image capturing modules in order to generate an output visualization signal. The output visualization signal is transmitted to and displayed by the 3D display device in a 3D manner. The integrated endoscope and visualization system not only provides a 3D vision of surgical target during an endoscopic surgery operation, but also allow the medical personnel to walk or move during the surgery while keeping looking at the 3D images captured by the endoscope through wearable display devices.

    Abstract: A digital photo frame comprises a storage unit for storing various picture data and music data. A built-in control software can be used to select a matching music and a matching digital outer frame pattern for each picture. When displaying a different picture, the matching music can be played and the matching digital outer frame pattern can be displayed automatically. Through the sound recording function, a matching music can be recorded for each picture. The alarm clock function and the radio reception function can also be added into this digital photo frame. With the control software, the time display format and position can be set. The music to be played can also be selected for the alarm clock.
