  • Patent number: 7802659
Abstract: A brake control device has a handle, a controlling lever, a driving member and a swing lever. The controlling lever is designed for manipulating by hand and fingers that can be shifted between a braked position, a temporary braked position, and a released position. The swing lever has one end pivotally connected to the handle, and another end pivotally connected with the controlling lever and the driving member. The driving member has a portion slidably abutting an upper wall formed within the handle, and drives braking mechanism by pulling a connecting element via a rotation while the controlling lever moves the driving member either downwardly or upwardly. Preferably, the controlling lever is formed with a stop or protrusion at the lower edge thereof for self-keeping in the braked position for parking the wheeled walker.

  • Publication number: 20070267835
Abstract: A foldable walker frame has a pair of handle struts, a foldable rack, a lateral folding mechanism, a pair of leg struts and a pair of latch elements. The pair of handle struts each has a handle, a braking actuator, and a connecting element. The lateral folding mechanism is pivotally connected between the pair of handle struts for separating the handle struts in an erected position and carrying the handle struts to close to each other in a folded position. The connecting element connects a front wheel and pivotally connects the leg struts, this allows the leg struts to pivot about the pivot pin and close to the handle struts in a collapsed state. The latch elements is linearly and slidably connected within one end of the leg struts, so as to latch to the connecting element and therefore stop the leg struts from rotation in an erected position.

  • Patent number: 7131692
Abstract: A detachable vehicle seat for children having a base and a backrest pivotally connected together by a connection mechanism. The connection mechanism includes a transverse latching bar and a restriction tab in the back of the seat. A cross-section of the latching bar has a short edge and a long edge, and the restriction tab has vertical receiving slots and apertures of differing heights. During assembly, the short edge of the latching bar is inserted into said apertures and restricted by its long edge from moving backwards, thereby preventing the bar from coming off of the receiving slots, thereby simplifying assembly or disassembly of the seat.

  • Publication number: 20060103114
Abstract: A structure for swiveling and anchoring the front wheel of a tricycle includes an actuation assembly, which has a rotary knob located above an anchor dock to turn a driving disk that has sloped surfaces to move an anchor pin upwards to control release and latching of a wheel seat so that the front wheel of the tricycle may be swiveled freely or moved forwards in a constant direction. As the rotary knob is located above the driving disk, the latch condition of the tricycle frame is less likely to be released by incidental impact. Therefore improved safety may be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20050098982
Abstract: A stroller frame includes a first joint assembly and a second joint assembly. For folding the frame, release the first joint assembly to turn the tubular members and the second joint assembly in the folding direction until reaching a selected angle in which the frame is prevented by the second joint assembly from continuously folding. This prevents incidental collapsing of the frame caused by improper operation of users or malfunction of the first joint assembly, which could result in injury. By releasing the second joint assembly, the frame may be folded continuously until fully collapsed.

  • Patent number: 6671926
Abstract: A wheel mechanism for controlling turning of the front wheel of a stroller includes a vertical axle and a latch mechanism. The upper end of the vertical axle is pivotally connected to the frame of the stroller. The lower end of the vertical axle is fixed to a horizontal axle of the wheel. The latch is movably mounted along the vertical axle and the frame and selectively moved between a released position and a locked position. When in the released position, the wheel can freely turn around the vertical axle. When in the locked position, the wheel cannot turn on the vertical axle but only rotates with the horizontal axle in a certain direction.

  • Publication number: 20020114480
Abstract: A playpen having facility for coaxing infant, utilizes a framing structure to fold, store and support the playpen itself. The framing comprises a vertical shaft set utilized to construct the legs of the playpen, a lower shaft set utilized to construct the bottom of the playpen and an upper shaft set utilized to support the upper edges of the playpen. The upper end of every vertical shaft has a corner jacket, the two ends of the corner of the jacket can be utilized to pivot to the upper shaft set to prop up the upper edge of a textile cloth mat of the playpen, and the corner jacket itself can be utilized to construct a cover of the coaxing facilities for receiving a recording, broadcast, light and battery and sensing-infant's-cry automatic coaxing facility. The vertical shafts that construct the legs of the playpen can be closed up normally to store the playpen conveniently when the playpen is folded through the combination the cover receiving the coaxing facility and the corner jacket.

  • Patent number: 6385800
Abstract: A collapsible playyard capable of being securely expanded to a first position and folded to a second position. It includes a foldable upper frame and a collapsible lower frame. The collapsible lower frame includes a pair of central frame members pivotably connected to a second lock structure, and the second lock structure includes a U-shaped cover and a grasp handle connected to a base portion of the U-shaped cover to flip the U-shaped cover. The U-shaped cover includes two connecting portions each having a pair of bulges located on an inside face of the connecting portion facing each other. Each of the central frame members has corresponding fillisters, such that when the U-shaped cover is laid at a horizontal direction, the bulges and the fillisters will be engaged causing the lower frame be locked in an expanded position, which can be unlocked by flipping the U-shaped cover into a vertical direction.
