Abstract: A device for connecting support legs to furnishing elements comprises a first connecting member which is to be secured to a leg, and a support unit which is to be secured to a furnishing element. The support unit comprises a second connecting member which can be selectively clamped to the first connecting member by clamping means. The first and the second connecting member comprises complementary angular-reference means which cooperate to define a plurality of predetermined orientations of the first connecting member relative to the second connecting member. In use, the clamping means engage respective clamping seats which are unequivocally determined in accordance with the orientation adopted by the first connecting member.

Abstract: The structure of an office furnishing system is constituted by a plurality of modular elements which can be interconnected in various possible configurations, the same basic elements being usable to form work stations as well as partition walls and screens, integrated into a harmonious unit. Each modular element includes a framework of upright members and cross members interconnected together. Each upright member and each cross member is formed from two parallel, profiled, metal sections spaced apart and interconnected by in at least two regions by first and second connectors respectively. The first and second connectors have complementary engaging surfaces for quickly connecting the cross members to the upright members.
