    Abstract: A wheel carrier (1) for providing a rotary connection between a wheel and suspension means of a vehicle comprises a support member (2) in order to support a braking band (3) and a connection flange (4) in order to support the wheel of the vehicle, in which the support member (2) and the connection flange (4) are two separate parts, first connecting means (8, 9, 10, 11) in order to connect the support member (2) to the suspension means and second connecting means (20, 21, 33) in order to rotatably connect the connection flange (4) to the support member (2), in which the first connecting means (8, 9, 10, 11) and the second connecting means (20, 21, 33) are functionally separate from one another.
