The top is formed as a ready-to-mount part ready to be mounted to the cabinet and forming a moisture condensing module for dehydrating drying air used to dry laundry within a drying drum of the laundry drying appliance. The top has a drying air inlet for receiving moisture-laden drying air, a drying air outlet for delivering demoisturized drying air, fluid passageways defined thereinside from the drying air inlet to the drying air outlet for the passage of the drying air to be dehydrated and a moisture condenser arranged inside the fluid passageways.

Abstract: A laundry machine includes an integrated heat pump system. The laundry machine comprises a cabinet (10). A tub (12) is associated to the cabinet (10). An air line is fluidly connected to the tub and to the heat pump system for air recirculation. A rotatable drum (14) is arranged within the tub (12) and resiliently supported at the cabinet (10) and/or at the tub (12) so that the tub (12) is stationary with respect to the cabinet (10) during operation of the machine, in particular during rotation of the drum (14). At least a part of the components of the heat pump system is supported by the cabinet 10 and/or the tub (12).

A method for operating a washing cycle and a subsequent drying cycle in the laundry washer-dryer comprises performing the washing cycle, the washing cycle including at least one washing phase, at least one rinsing phase and at least one spinning phase, and performing the drying cycle including at least one drying phase.
