  • Patent number: 11433972
Abstract: A bicycle gearshift is operated by imposing on the chain guide a primary displacement in the axial direction with respect to a cogset, to move the chain between the sprockets. Simultaneously with imposing on the primary displacement imposing on the chain guide a secondary displacement in the radial direction with respect to the cogset. The secondary displacement is of a greater size when the primary displacement takes place in the area of the cogset with the larger sprockets whereas it is of a smaller size when the primary displacement takes place in the area of the cogset with the smaller sprockets.

  • Patent number: 10814934
Abstract: A rear derailleur of a bicycle is disclosed. The rear derailleur includes a four-bar linkage. A fixing pin is received in a blind inner cavity of a base body and a fixing screw is constrained to a frame. A spring loading insert is arranged in the blind inner cavity. The base body is rotatable with respect to the spring loading insert. Connection members are inserted in seats formed on the fixing screw and on the spring loading insert to axially constrain the fixing screw and the spring loading insert. A toothed sector is mounted coaxially to the spring loading insert and is active on a sprocket which is active on the base body. A torsion spring is active between the spring loading insert and the toothed sector and is configured to constrain the spring loading insert and the toothed sector in rotation during controlled movements of the chain guide.

  • Patent number: 9969459
Abstract: A right crank arm assembly for a bicycle, comprises a right crank arm and at least one front sprocket coupled with the crank arm at at least one coupling portion of the crank arm. The front sprocket has an inner side adapted, in use, to face towards the frame of the bicycle and an outer side opposite the inner side. The assembly comprises at least one first crank arm element which acts in contact with the front sprocket on one of said sides and at least one second crank arm element which acts in contact with the front sprocket on the other of said sides. The contact action of the crank arm elements on the two opposite sides of the front sprocket prevents the twisting deformation of the front sprocket during pedaling. Such a deformation would cause a reduction in the transmission efficiency of the right crank arm assembly.
