  • Patent number: 11930807
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for the delivering of liquid mixtures of phytosanitary products is disclosed, equipped with a pneumatic liquid mixture atomization system which includes a fan for generating a carrier airflow through at least one diffuser with a conduit tapering towards a reduced section, and at least one delivery nozzle of the liquid mixture within the diffuser. The nozzle is provided with a delivery end arranged in a first delivery position within the airflow near to the reduced section and at least a second delivery position located downstream of the reduced section, where the airflow has a lower speed compared to the first position, and a controller selecting the first delivery position and the at least a second delivery position alternatively depending on a desired condition of reduction of drift effect the droplets of phytosanitary liquid.

  • Publication number: 20070252020
Abstract: A low-volume atomiser for agricultural use is described, and an anti-drip device therefor, of the type comprising at least a tank (S) for a treatment liquid, a blower (V) to determine an airblast in delivery ducts (1) of delivery assemblies, and a system feeding the liquid to the delivery ducts (1) comprising at least one common manifold (2) with multiple branches from which a series of small pipes (4) depart connecting to respective delivery ducts, said liquid flowing in the small pipes (4) by depression, wherein between said common manifold (2) and each of said small pipes (4), at the bottom of said pipes, at least one check valve (6) is provided which prevents reflux of the treatment liquid towards the common manifold (2).

  • Patent number: 5996904
Abstract: A diffuser (D) for atomizers or mist blowers of treatment liquids in agriculture, includes a large tube (1) fed with air under pressure, ending into a narrow fan-shaped opening (2), and elements to cause the treatment liquid to flow into the fan-shaped opening (2) at a very low pressure. The elements include a plurality of sectors (3) for liquid distribution, each of them consisting of two straight tube lengths (4) of synthetic plastic material, provided with gauged holes (5) and mutually connected so as to form a very wide angle between them, and substantially at 90.degree. with a feeding duct (6). The sectors (3) are positioned in succession, in one or more side-by-side rows, along the narrow fan-shaped opening (2), substantially at its center.
