  • Patent number: 9331671
Abstract: A power harvesting circuit includes a new transmitter topology that ensures that no junction of thin oxide transistors forming the power harvesting circuit will experience a voltage across junctions of the transistors that is more than a maximum tolerable junction voltage. A supplemental power feed circuit operates to provide a supplemental feed current to components in a transmitter circuit when power harvested from a receiver circuit is insufficient to adequately power these components of the transmitter circuit, which may occur during high frequency operation of communications channels coupling the transmitter and receiver circuits. The supplemental power feed circuit also operates to sink a shunt current when power harvested from the receiver circuit is more than is needed to power the components in the transmitter circuit.

  • Publication number: 20150263039
Abstract: A standard cell layout for a multiple input logic gate includes first through fourth parallel gate electrodes disposed over first and second active regions. The first and second gate electrodes are disposed on a first side of a first axis at first and second distances, respectively, from the first axis, and the third and fourth gate electrodes are disposed on a second side of the first axis at third and fourth distances, respectively, from the first axis. The first distance is greater than the second distance and the fourth distance is greater than the third distance. The third and fourth gate electrodes form a mirror image of the first and second gate electrodes about the first axis.

  • Publication number: 20150150341
Abstract: A field replaceable buckle with reinstallable cross bar includes at least one buckle part having a pair of lateral lugs extending therefrom. Each lateral lug has at least one aperture provided therein. The reinstallable cross bar includes a securing portion and a retaining portion. When the reinstallable cross bar is inserted through an aperture in a first lateral lug, it is prevented from passing therethrough by the retaining portion and the securing portion is operable to securely, but releasably, engage an aperture in the second lateral lug.

  • Patent number: 7893671
Abstract: A regulator to provide an output voltage of a constant level at an output node. In an embodiment, the regulator contains a pass transistor to provide a conductive path between a pair of terminals, with the resistance offered by the path being determined by a control voltage on a third terminal of the pass transistor and the conductive path coupling a first reference potential (e.g., power supply) to the output node. An amplifier generates the control voltage based on a difference of a reference voltage and a voltage proportionate to the output voltage. A control unit turns on a current source when the voltage at the output node is below the desired constant level and turns on a current sink when voltage at said output node is above the constant level, to quickly correct for any variations in the output voltage due to load changes.

  • Publication number: 20040105388
Abstract: A router node for a broadband Internet access carrier environment scales in the data forwarding plane and the routing control plane. The router node architecture ensures satisfactory isolation between routing instances and satisfactory isolation between data forwarding plane and routing control plane resources bound to each routing instance. The router node has a dedicated control fabric which is nonblocking. The control fabric is reserved for traffic involving at least one module in the routing control plane. The control fabric further provides resources, such as physical paths, stores and tokens, dedicated to particular pairs of modules on the control fabric. The control fabric supports a configurable number of routing modules. The router node may be arranged in a multi-router configuration in which the control fabric has at least two routing modules.
