  • Patent number: 10064707
Abstract: A bone implant includes a head and a core body extending from the head to a tip. An osteotomy blade extends outwardly from at least a portion of the core body to form a spiral thread. Channels form bone cutting edges of the implant. The implant, and particularly the osteotomy blade, is configured to self-osteotomize and direct cut bone into the channels to facilitate bone growth and grafting and integration of the implant to the bone.

  • Patent number: 9204943
Abstract: The present invention relates to dental implants and provides a flexible core abutment system using an implantable base member, a flexible inner core and an outer shell for receiving a restoration wherein the flexibility of the abutment simulates the shock absorbing properties typically provided by the ligaments of natural teeth.

  • Patent number: 9107477
Abstract: A heel guard detachably mountable onto a heel post of a high heel shoe extends the heel post pressure area, while moving over rough terrain preventing the heel post from sinking into soft surfaces. The heel guard comprises a base portion and an upper portion. The base portion dissipates the heel post pressure while the upper portion frictionally grips the heel post. The upper portion projects from the base portion in a curvilinear fashion into a plurality of stays that converge forming an aperture before extending into the upper portion interior. The upper portion can also be an hourglass columnar receptacle with a bore that tapers from a wide opening to a narrower middle section then to a wider base. The narrower middle section frictionally grips heel posts of varying thicknesses.

  • Publication number: 20130022942
Abstract: A bone implant includes a head and a core body extending from the head to a tip. Multiple osteotomy blades extend outwardly from at least a portion of the core body, arranged end-to-end to form a spiral thread. The implant, and particularly the osteotomy blades, are configured to self-osteotomize and channel cut bone between the blades and facilitate bone growth and grafting and integration of the implant to the bone.
