The shopping system includes a deal page that displays a coupon associated with a product and that receives a request to purchase the product from a purchaser, wherein the coupon provides a deal to the purchaser for the purchase of the product, and wherein the coupon is provided based upon a limit, and a coupon allocator that allocates the coupon to the purchaser in response to the request, and in further response to a first determination that the limit is not exceeded. The purchasing system includes a purchase page that displays a purchase of the product by the purchaser in response to the request, and a coupon redeemer that redeems the coupon for the product in response to a second determination that the limit is not exceeded.
