  • Publication number: 20200211000
Abstract: A blockchain network for tracking device as a service operation is disclosed. The blockchain network includes a plurality of peer nodes and each peer nodes further include a processor and a memory includes a smart contract that includes processor instructions that cause the processor to verify digital identity of users accessing the blockchain network and validate data shared by each user accessing the blockchain network. Processor instructions further cause the processor to automatically process an order associated with the request initiated by the initiator node for the device as a service and create a unique transaction ID associated with the order. Processor instructions cause the processor to update an order status associated with the order based on the unique ID, reconciliate fulfillment claims with an invoice associated with the order, and process payments associated with the order in response to the reconciliating.

  • Patent number: 10534923
Abstract: A method and system for tracking and managing additive manufacturing of products includes formalizing a digital contract between a registered product owner and a registered additive manufacturing vendor. The digital contract includes an identification of a design file of the product, an identification of each registered additive manufacturing printer owned by the registered vendor, and an authorized quantity of products to be manufactured. The method further includes providing an access to the design file to the registered vendor upon formalization of the digital contract, and recording a print transaction data received from each registered printer. The print transaction data includes a quantity of products manufactured by the registered printer. The method further includes terminating the digital contract by revoking the access to the design file when the manufactured quantity equals the authorized quantity or upon violation of the digital contract.

  • Publication number: 20180341915
Abstract: This disclosure relates to method and system for tracking and managing regulatory certificates of aircraft components. In one embodiment, a method is provided for tracking and managing regulatory certificates of an aircraft component during a lifecycle of the aircraft component. The method includes registering various entities involved in various stages of the lifecycle of the aircraft component, creating multiple records for at least a set of entities corresponding to a regulatory certificate, and updating a record from among the multiple records upon a transaction with a subsequent entity from among the various entities involved in a subsequent stage from among the various stages. Each of the records comprises a number of regulatory parameters. Further, the regulatory certificate is obtained from a regulatory body upon request by an entity from among the various entities involved in a stage from among the various stages.

  • Patent number: 9408181
Abstract: System and methods are provided for dynamically setting a threshold signal-to-noise ratio for probe requests for one or more access points in a wireless network based on several factors, including density/distance between access points and/or current and expected load on access points. By dynamically adjusting a threshold signal-to-noise for probe requests, the systems and methods described herein may efficiently utilize resources based on current and/or expected conditions. In particular, an access point may ignore client device probe requests when another access point may be better positioned to handle such a request and/or when the access point would be unable to meet expected load requirements if such an associate were made.
