Abstract: A bypass module for bypassing an immobilizer of a vehicle. The immobilizer includes a transceiver for transmitting a security information request and receiving security information from a vehicle transponder key. The bypass module includes a first communication interface for interfacing with the immobilizer, a controller for processing the security information request; and a memory for storing the security information. The vehicle immobilizer of the vehicle is bypassed when the bypass module transmits via said first communication interface the security information stored on the memory to the immobilizer in response to the security information request.
