  • Patent number: 10605315
Abstract: A brake includes a caliper overlapping a disk. The brake also includes a first pad and a second pad which are carried by the caliper on either side of the disk. The brake further includes a first actuator including a first primary toothed wheel driving a first mobile piston pressing against the first pad in order to move same. The brake further includes a second actuator including a second primary toothed wheel driving a second mobile piston pressing against the second pad. The brake further includes a rotating shaft including a first and a second endless screw having opposite winding directions, the shaft being movable in translation. The brake further includes an electric motor for driving the rotating shaft. The first and second endless screws are engaged in the first and second primary toothed wheels respectively.

  • Patent number: 9309936
Abstract: The present invention relates to a sleeve (9) for a disk brake fitted with a caliper slidably mounted in a carrier by means of pins fixed rigidly to the caliper, said sleeve (9) being designed to receive one of said pins in a bore of the carrier. According to the invention, such a sleeve is characterized in that it has ribs (10, 11) on a surface designed to come into contact with the carrier so that said ribs (10, 11) may be deformed in order to increase said contact surface when the sleeve (9) is compressed by an activation of the brake.

  • Patent number: 9303704
Abstract: A mounting system for a brake pad in the housings of a disk brake yoke in which the brake pad comprises at its ends two mounting ears (10), each ear being mounted in a housing of a disk brake yoke. The mounting system comprises for each pad ear, a spring (5) of linear or lamella shape, intended to bear, on the one hand, below a lower face (12) of the ear and, on the other hand, on the lower face of the housing of the yoke so as to separate the lower face (12) of the ear from the lower face of the housing.

  • Patent number: 8991565
Abstract: Disc brake piston cap (3) interposed between the caliper (1) and the piston (2) to protect the piston (2). The cap (3) has a bulge (351) on the inner fold (35) which is engaged in the groove (22) of the piston (2), and has an overmolded insert (31) fixed to the annular groove (11) of the caliper. The folded cap (3), with the overmolded insert (31), intermediate folds (33, 34) and an outer fold (32), comprises longitudinal ribs (352) on the face of the inner fold (35) to stiffen this fold and allow air to pass from the inside to the outside around the bulge (351) of the inner fold (35), housed in the groove (22).
