  • Publication number: 20220287637
Abstract: Electronic devices embedded in textile materials provide an improved connection of the electronic device with a textile without impairing the movement of a user. An apparatus for processing sensor signals includes an electronic device to process user biometric signals and a plurality of electrically conducting pads. Each pad is connected to an electrically conducting wire contacting a sensor corresponding to a user anatomic region and providing a sensor signal to the electronic device. A textile interface for a wearable fabric has a first and second surface and a porosity providing a fluidic communication between the surfaces. The electronic device, the pads, and the conducting wires are arranged on the first surface and attached to the textile interface. A coating material covers the electronic device and the pads and extends from the first to the second surface so as to fluidically seal the electronic device and the pads.

  • Patent number: 10543821
Abstract: The present invention relates to a liquid reservoir for a vehicle that is subjected in service to inclinations in at least two different directions, the reservoir comprising a float well which delimits a bowl containing a float that is able to move depending on the level of liquid in the reservoir. The reservoir is characterized in that the float well comprises at least two retention means positioned successively along a flow path of the liquid as far as the bowl, from the outside toward the inside of the float well, each retention means keeping liquid in the float well if the reservoir is inclined in a set of directions specific to this retention means. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle system comprising such a liquid reservoir and means for binary detection of the level of liquid in the reservoir.

  • Publication number: 20150261663
Abstract: Managing memory resources of a security device, such as a chip card, may include: formatting memory space allocated to a session for storing computer objects and, carried out whenever a computer object is created; allocating a memory block in the memory space for storing the computer object being created; and partitioning the memory space allocated to a session into in one side a first memory subspace, the first address of which is determined according to a random/pseudorandom number and the last address of which is the allocated memory space's last address, and in another side a second memory subspace the first address of which is the allocated memory space's first address and the last address of which precedes the first subspace's first address. The allocating a memory block may include seeking an allocatable memory block first performed in the first memory subspace and, if necessary, in the second memory subspace.

  • Patent number: 8566572
Abstract: A method of masking the end-of-life transition of a microprocessor electronic device including reprogrammable non-volatile memory containing an end-of-life state variable. On booting, the value of the variable is loaded into RAM. After executing any current command, it is verified whether the value of the variable stored in RAM is FALSE. If the response is negative, the end-of-life transition is executed. Otherwise, initialization or execution of the command is continued. On detecting an intrusive attack, it is instantiated by writing the TRUE value to the end-of-life state variable in RAM only and then deferring writing of the TRUE value to the variable in the non-volatile memory until the next write operation. The invention is applicable to any electronic device, smart card, etc.
