  • Patent number: 10576647
Abstract: The present application relates to a system for treating a part of a body to be treated. In particular, the present invention relates to a system for cutting hair on a part of a body to be treated. The system has a hand-held treating device having a treating unit. The system also has an imaging module configured to generate information indicative of the position of the treating device relative to the part of the body to be treated based on an image of a part of the body and the treating device. A controller is configured to change an operating characteristic of the treating device in dependence on the information generated by the imaging module. The present application also relates to a treating device configured to be used in a system as described above and a method for treating a part of a body to be treated.

Abstract: The present application relates to a system for treating a part of a body to be treated. In particular, the present invention relates to a system for cutting hair on a part of a body to be treated. The system has a hand-held treating device (20) having a treating unit (24). The system also has an imaging module (30) configured to generate information indicative of the position of the treating device (20) relative to the part of the body to be treated based on an image of a part of the body and the treating device (20). A controller (40) is configured to change an operating characteristic of the treating device (20) in dependence on the information generated by the imaging module (30). The present application also relates to a treating device configured to be used in a system as described above and a method for treating a part of a body to be treated.

  • Patent number: 9126345
Abstract: A domestic appliance includes a functional action unit which has at least one movably arranged member, and a generator configured to generate electric energy at the location of the functional action unit. The generator is associated with the movably arranged member, and employs movement of this member in a process of generating electric energy. The generator includes a permanent magnet and an electric coil, where the magnet may be mounted on the movably arranged member. By having the generator at a location inside the functional action unit, it is possible to have one or more electric components at a location inside this unit without the need for external electric connections.

  • Patent number: 8253419
Abstract: A battery voltage monitoring system monitors voltage of an arrangement of more than two batteries (U1, U2, U3, U4, U5) in series. The system comprises a voltage divider comprises a first (R1, R2, R3, R4) and second resistive element (R5, R6, R7, R8) arranged parallel to at least a part of the battery arrangement and connected to a reference voltage line and to a node (N1, N2, N3, N4) in the battery arrangement. In between the first (R1, R2, R3, R4) and second resistive element (R5, R6, R7, R8) a transistor (Q11, Q12, Q13, Q14) is arranged. The base of the transistor is, via a diode (D1, D2, D3, D4), connected to a further node (N2, N3, N4, N5) in the series arrangement of batteries, and a switching element (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4) is provided to address the transistor (Q11, Q12, Q13,Q14).

  • Publication number: 20120090181
Abstract: A personal care apparatus (101) is presented, comprising a housing (117). This housing has a longitudinal axis (108) and is provided with a first end portion (102) and a second end portion (105). The first end portion (102) has a first end (103) having a first device configured for performing a function related to personal care (104). The second end portion (105) has a second end (106) having a second device configured for performing a function related to personal care (107). Said end portions (102, 105) are located in accordance with the longitudinal axis (108), and said ends (103, 106) are configured for pointing in different directions (114, 115). The first end portion (102) and the second end portion (105) are rotatable over an axis of rotation with respect to each other, which axis of rotation approximately corresponds to the longitudinal axis (108). This personal care apparatus allows the user to easily prevent the not in use device to have unintended interference with the user's skin or hairs.

  • Publication number: 20110067243
Abstract: A domestic appliance comprises a functional action unit (3) which has at least one movably arranged member, and further comprises means (15) for generating electric energy at the location of the unit (3). The means (15) for generating electric energy are associated with the movably arranged member, and are adapted to employ movement of this member in a process of generating electric energy. In a practical embodiment, the means (15) for generating electric energy comprise a permanent magnet (16) and an electric coil (18), wherein the magnet (16) may be mounted on the movably arranged member. By having the means (15) for generating electric energy at a location inside the functional action unit (3), it is possible to have one or more electric components at a location inside this unit (3) as well.
