  • Publication number: 20130181446
Abstract: The invention relates to a quick-connect coupler for at least one tube, including a tubular body having at least one receiving portion shaped to receive an end segment of the tube, the receiving portion being at least partially made from a transparent material, so as to make it possible to view the end segment of the tube when the latter is received in the receiving portion, and a retaining member mounted inside the receiving portion, arranged to oppose the withdrawal of the tube when a pulling force is exerted on the tube.

  • Publication number: 20060022454
Abstract: Ring for visually determining the crimped status of a coupling for tubes, comprising an annular portion exhibiting at least one recess revealing the body of the coupling and at least one fin situated facing a recess, the at least one fin comprising a first end connected to the annular portion and situated some distance from the coupling, and a second end situated near the body of the coupling so that the at least one fin is displaced by the crimping tool during the coupling crimping operation so as to at least partially close off the corresponding recess.

  • Patent number: 6767034
Abstract: A coupling device for coupling an endpiece to a member, comprises a female portion for receiving the endpiece, and a bushing mounted to slide in the female portion and possessing one end projecting from the female portion and provided with at least one blocking member for blocking the bushing either in a pushed-in, locking position or pulled-back, unlocking position, and an opposite end provided both with front abutment elements for coming into abutment with an annular bead of the endpiece, and rear abutment elements for coming into abutment with the bead so that when the bushing is in its unlocking position, the rear abutment elements are movable by the annular abutment between a position in which they project towards the inside of the bushing and a retracted position, and when the bushing is in its locking position, the rear abutment elements are held in their projecting position.

  • Publication number: 20030098583
Abstract: A coupling device for coupling an endpiece to a member, the coupling device comprising a female portion (7) for receiving the endpiece, and being characterized in that it comprises a bushing (16) mounted to slide in the female portion and possessing one end (18) projecting from the female portion which is provided on the outside with at least one blocking means (27) for blocking the bushing either in a pushed-in, locking position or else in a pulled-back, unlocking position, and an opposite end (17) provided both with front abutment means (20) for coming into abutment with an annular bead (4) of the endpiece (2), which front abutment means project radially inwards from the bushing, and rear abutment means (24) for coming into abutment with the bead so that when the bushing is in its unlocking position, the rear abutment means are movable by the annular abutment between a position in which they project towards the inside of the bushing and a retracted position, and when the bushing is in its locking position,

  • Patent number: 6568717
Abstract: A ball coupling comprising a male tubular endpiece (2) provided with an outer annular collar (4), a female tubular endpiece (3) having a ball-retaining cage fixed axially thereon, the cage having slots (10) for receiving balls (12), and a thimble (13) disposed coaxially about the cage (6) and mounted thereon via guide means (14, 15) for guiding the thimble to turn about the longitudinal axis (1) of the coupling so as to enable the thimble to turn through a turn angle (&agr;) relative to the cage between a first position and a second position, the thimble having for each ball, a first recess (16) extending in register with the corresponding slot for the first position of the thimble to form an abutment for holding the corresponding ball in a position in which it projects into the inside of the cage, and a second recess (17) connected to the first recess via a sloping wall (18) and offset relative to the first recess by an angle corresponding to the turn angle (&agr;) so as to receive the corresponding ball in

  • Patent number: 6206435
Abstract: A coupling device has a female part secured to a rigid endpiece. A stepped bore is provided that presents a large diameter section beyond an axial latch that is movable between two positions. A banding ring is housed in a removable manner inside the large diameter section and fitted on its inside surface with at least one retaining projection. The projection is used to axially link the tube to the banding ring by biting into the outside surface of the tube. An axial latch has two positions: one opposing axial displacement of the banding ring away from the rigid endpiece, the other releasing the banding ring.
