Abstract: A portable ottoman is described. The portable ottoman can be placed on the bathing surface of a right-hand or left-hand bathtub or placed on the bathing surface of a shower and is designed for use by ambulatory or non-ambulatory individuals. The portable ottoman can also be used in a non-bathing environment, for example to assist with dressing. The portable ottoman has two or more legs, each leg having one or more feet. The portable ottoman rests on two or more feet that are positioned on the bathing surface or on the floor surface adjacent to the user.

Abstract: A bathing platform is provides that includes an elongated platform having a top surface and a bottom surface, a first long side, a second long side, a first short side and a second short side. A bottom surface portion of the first and second long sides is configured to engage an upper surface of the bathtub and support the elongated platform. A bottom surface portion of the first and second short sides may also engage with an upper surface of the bathtub and support the elongated platform.

Abstract: A portable bathing seat is described. The portable bathing seat includes a platform having a top surface and a bottom surface, a first long side, a second long side, a first short side and a second short side. The platform is secured above a bathing surface by at least two legs that each have one or more feet that engage the bathing surface or an adjacent surface. The platform also includes a transfer area proximal the first short side and the transfer area is advantageously at a wheelchair transfer height. The portable bathing seat also includes a transfer pommel secured to the platform proximal the first short side and a handle secured to the platform proximal the second short side. The portable bathing seat also includes a ballast reservoir positioned below the platform and configured to hold a ballast for providing stability to the portable bathing seat.

Abstract: A modular roll-in shower system includes a base having an upper surface and a lower surface and a plurality of side walls extending upward from the upper surface and a door attached to a first of the plurality of side walls. The side walls, the door and the base are connected together to form a substantially water tight bathing chamber having an opening above the base. The door is attached to a side wall or a door jamb. The door may be attached at an angle biased to swing the door into the closed position or the door may be attached with spring loaded hinges that swing the door into the closed position. The door may also be electronically controlled to open and close. The system also includes an access ramp that is substantially flush with a floor surface on a first side and substantially flush with the upper surface of the base on a second side to allow a wheel chair to roll from the floor surface onto the upper surface of the base.
