  • Patent number: 8672066
Abstract: An agricultural vehicle includes an internal combustion engine, an electric machine for driving one powertrain and a number of devices selectively drivable by the powertrain. The powertrain has a first section associated to the internal combustion engine, a second section and a first clutch for coupling the first and second sections. The electric machine and at least one of the devices are associated to the second section.

  • Patent number: 8234946
Abstract: A hydraulic control system for a dual clutch transmission includes a plurality of solenoids and valves in fluid communication with a plurality of clutch actuators and with a plurality of synchronizer actuators. The clutch actuators are operable to actuate a plurality of torque transmitting devices and the synchronizer actuators are operable to actuate a plurality of synchronizer assemblies. Selective activation of combinations of the solenoids allows for a pressurized fluid to flow through the valves to activate at least one of the clutch actuators and synchronizer actuators in order to shift the transmission into a desired gear ratio. A range selection valve is operable to place the transmission in Park and out-of-Park modes of operation.

  • Publication number: 20110283830
Abstract: A clutch actuation device is provided for dual clutches of a Dual Clutch Transmission. The clutch actuation device includes, but is not limited to a cylinder assembly that is substantially fixed to a clutch casing. The cylinder assembly includes, but is not limited to an inner annular chamber, an outer annular chamber, an inner annular piston, and an outer annular piston. The inner annular chamber is intended for receiving liquid under pressure and includes, but is not limited to an inner inlet. Similarly, the outer annular chamber is intended for receiving liquid under pressure and includes, but is not limited to an outer inlet. The outer annular chamber surrounds a portion of the inner annular chamber. The inner annular piston is slidably disposed in the inner annular chamber for actuating a first clutch disc whilst the outer annular piston is slidably disposed in the outer annular chamber for actuating a second clutch disc.

  • Publication number: 20100243402
Abstract: A device is provided for actuating a dual clutch transmission (DCT). In order to provide a device for actuating a dual clutch transmission for controlling a double clutch transmission with 5 synchronizer actuators and 2 input clutch actuators, the device includes, but is not limited to two branches, one branch comprising four flow regulators and one pressure regulator and the second branch comprising three flow regulators and one pressure regulator. The hydraulic system controls two clutch actuator pressures and five gear actuator positions. In this context, the flow regulators are used to control the rod position of a dual effect hoist and the pressure regulators control the effort available on the rod of a single effect hoist through a calibrated orifice.
