Abstract: The invention relates notably to an installation comprising a device for orienting objects which have more or less two axes of symmetry and are placed on a conveyor. The installation is notable in that the device comprises four arms (81, 82, 83, 84) arranged perpendicular to one another so as to form a cross, the arms (81, 82, 83, 84) being mounted on a chassis, said chassis being mounted so that it can rotate about a common axis (Z) of rotation which is perpendicular to the plane of said conveyor. In addition, each arm (81, 82, 83, 84) is mounted with the ability to effect a rectilinear translational movement along a segment of a straight line, said segments being offset by a distance in relation to the common axis of rotation (Z), said segments intersecting to form a square centred on said common axis of rotation (Z). Finally, the installation comprises means for moving the axis (Z) of rotation of the device transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis (Z) of said conveyor of said items.

Abstract: Plant and process for assembling, in the form of an open-ended box (27; 31), a cardboard blank (1) for the manufacture of a box of the American box type, said blank (1) comprising two opposite walls, joined by their lateral edges, each of the walls comprising two adjacent sides of the box to be formed, the two adjacent sides having different lengths, said process consisting in using three assembly arms (10, 11, 12), the three arms being actuated, in pairs, by control means (5) following a first operating mode (I) or a second operating mode (II).

Abstract: The machine according to the invention comprises a store containing the blanks; an extractor arm; means for shaping the blanks; and an upstream transport device for receiving and distributing the blanks of the boxes. The extractor arm and the shaping means are provided on the frame of a bench, which is inserted, as in a module, between the store and the upstream transport device. Said bench comprises: a ramp which is upwardly inclined at an angle of 45° in relation to the horizontal and acts as a guiding channel; a sole having an upper part, in the region of the shaping station, which can be retracted to enable the blank to pass via the ramp; a transport system for moving the blanks from the lower point to the upper point; a forming arm carried by a framework which extends above the ramp; and a transfer arm which participates in the shaping of the blank before moving it, once it has become a box blank on the downstream transport device.

Abstract: The invention relates to equipment including a robotized palletizing station comprising a robot (10) to which objects on a pallet (3) are accessible, said robotized palletizing station being placed in a closed chamber (1) provided with a door (7) providing access to said palletizing station, said station being provided with a cradle (17), said cradle consisting of a stationary portion (18, 19, 20, 21), provided so as to center and guide the pallet when it is partially fed into said palletizing station, and a movable portion (29, 22) that picks up said pallet (3) so as to place it in a reference position in said palletizing station, as well as to take said pallet from said reference position after it has been filled.

Abstract: A process for erecting a cardboard box blank into the form of a case for the manufacture of a shipping-type cardboard box, together with equipment for its implementation. The process includes the following stages: drawing off a blank having an inscription in standard or reverse form from a stand using a first extractor arm, holding this first arm in contact with a first side of the blank and then placing a second arm on a second side of the blank, the second side being opposite the first side. The process includes operation of a control mechanism after application of second arm to erect a blank having an inscription in standard or reverse form into the form of a case, the control mechanism activating the first extractor arm or the second arm to open the blank.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for assembling a composite box, in two parts, the method being implemented by a machine having: a conveyor system for bringing an envelope into position; a store for storing the blanks of the trays; means in the form of extractor arms for removing one of the tray blanks from the store and bringing it to the assembly station, facing the envelope; a device for gluing the edges of the envelope and the tongues of the tray blank during the movement towards the assembly station; a framework having two mobile carriages, a first carriage carrying a die for shaping the blank, and a second carriage carrying a tappet for driving the envelope towards the die and a stamp maintaining a counter-pressure using a suitable device against the pressing device of the die.
