  • Publication number: 20250104244
Abstract: Digital image processing methods performed by a computer are disclosed. In one example, a first digital image captured by a real camera is sub-divided into a first plurality of sub-images. A second digital image captured by a real camera is sub-divided into a second plurality of sub-images. A set of image features in a first sub-image of the first plurality of sub-images is identified. A subset of neighboring sub-images is identified from the second plurality of sub-images based at least on each neighboring sub-image of the subset of neighboring sub-images having one or more corresponding image features in common with the set of image features identified in the first sub-image.

  • Publication number: 20250104203
Abstract: Digital image processing methods performed by a computer are disclosed. In one example, a digital image captured by a real camera having intrinsic and extrinsic parameters is received. One or more distortion correction transformations are applied to the digital image to generate a distortion-corrected digital image. The distortion-corrected digital image is sub-divided into a plurality of distortion-corrected sub-images. For each distortion-corrected sub-image of the plurality of distortion-corrected sub-images, the distortion-corrected sub-image is associated with a synthesized recapture camera having synthesized intrinsic and extrinsic parameters mapped from the intrinsic and extrinsic parameters of the real camera.

  • Publication number: 20240362891
Abstract: A system for selecting motion models for aligning scene content captured by different image sensors, is configurable to (i) access a first image captured by a first image sensor and a second image captured by a second image sensor; (ii) access a set of motion models; (iii) define a reference patch within the second image; (iv) generate a respective match patch for each motion model of the set of motion models; (v) determine a similarity between each respective match patch and the reference patch within the second image; (vi) select a final motion model from the set of motion models based upon the similarity between each respective match patch and the reference patch within the second image; and (vii) utilize the final motion model to generate an output image for display to a user.

  • Publication number: 20240362802
Abstract: A system determining motion models for aligning scene content captured by different image sensors is configurable to access a first motion model generated based upon a set of feature correspondences that includes (i) an inlier set used to determine model parameters for the first motion model and (ii) an outlier set. The system is also configurable to define a modified set of feature correspondences that includes the outlier set from the set of feature correspondences. The system is also configurable to generate a second motion model by using the modified set of feature correspondences to determine model parameters for the second motion model.

  • Publication number: 20230360317
Abstract: A digital image processing method performed by a computer is disclosed. A digital image captured by a real camera having intrinsic and extrinsic parameters is received. The intrinsic parameters include a native principal point defined relative to an origin of a coordinate system of the digital image. The digital image is sub-divided into a plurality of sub-images. For each sub-image of the plurality of sub-images, the sub-image is associated with a synthesized recapture camera having synthesized intrinsic and extrinsic parameters mapped from the real camera. The synthesized intrinsic parameters include the native principal point defined relative to an origin of a coordinate system of the sub-image.

  • Patent number: 7116107
Abstract: The invention relates to a transmitter loop configuration used for ground and downhole electromagnetic geophysical surveys. The loop wire is spread out on the ground surface in such a way as to form several subset loops in series. Each subset loop can be juxtaposed to each other or separated by a fixed distance. The contribution of each subset to the primary electromagnetic field is improved in intensity and vector orientation so as to energize more efficiently buried geological conductors. This design generates a strong sub-horizontal primary field in an in-loop zone of the global loop. Any sub-vertical conductor buried under this in-loop zone will be maximum-coupled and will generate a secondary electromagnetic field detectable by a receiver device. This invention includes the possibility of using a combination a several pairs of loops.

  • Patent number: 5917731
Abstract: The invention relates to a process of detecting check sequences in a situation recognition system, composed of a list of events and time constraints. For each check sequence, a sequence of events and intervals between possible dates of occurrence of each of these events is created in memory. The process manages an internal clock differing from universal time, representing the current date of the system, updates the sequences of events for each situation upon each occurrence of a new event. This causes an updating of the current date, an updating for each sequence of events memorized of the intervals between possible dates of occurrences, detection of all the sequences of events for which one of these intervals is empty, creation of new sequences of events integrating this new event, and a detection of complete sequences.
