  • Publication number: 20240149402
Abstract: The invention relates to a pneumatic tool with a handle (26), valve (22), a safety switch lever (18) arranged on the handle (26) for actuating the valve (22) and a pressure medium connection (16), wherein the valve (22) comprises a valve body (28) movable between a home position and at least one further position, wherein a connection between the pressure medium connection (16) and a pressure cylinder (12) of the tool is interrupted in the home position and the connection between the pressure medium connection (16) and the pressure cylinder (12) of the tool is established in the further position. It is proposed that the pressure cylinder (12) is vented with the displacement of the valve body (28) to the home position and a pressure applied to the pressure medium connection (16) displaces the valve body (28) toward the home position when the safety switch lever (18) is released.

  • Patent number: 11961238
Abstract: A method for segmenting a 3D model image of a patient's dentition obtains a first 3D model image of the patient dentition and obtains a first segmentation of the first 3D model image, wherein the first segmentation provides at least a tooth surface contour and a tooth label for one or more teeth of the first 3D model. A second 3D model image of the patient dentition is obtained. Each segmented tooth surface contour of the first 3D model is registered to corresponding tooth surface contour of the second 3D model. A second segmentation of the second 3D model image is obtained according to the registered tooth surface contour, wherein the second segmentation similarly provides at least tooth surface contour and a tooth labeling for one or more teeth of the second 3D model image. The segmented second 3D model image is displayed, transmitted, or stored.

  • Publication number: 20220111285
Abstract: A system and a method for measurement of the time of passage on a timekeeping line of a race by a competitor, the method being implemented by a measurement system including at least one image sensor. The method includes acquiring electric signals representative of the image of the timekeeping line captured by the image sensor, the electric signals being produced according to optical signals received by the sensor. The method also includes transmitting electric signals to an image-processing unit, detecting the passage of a timekeeping line by an object, detecting information relating to the object to verify that the object corresponds to a competitor, transmitting an order to measure the time of passage to a measurement unit if the object corresponds to a competitor, measuring the time of passage of the object on the timekeeping line corresponding to the instant of passage of the object.

  • Publication number: 20220001239
Abstract: A timing method for a sports competition at the same time on different sites (4) around the world. In a first phase, all time bases of the timing devices, of a start coordinator device (3) and of each site are synchronised. Next, a measurement of the transmission times between the start coordinator device and each site is performed to determine a maximum transmission time. The start coordinator device establishes a start time equal to the time of the date of each site and while adding a time difference longer than the determined maximum transmission time. The start time is adapted to each site where the competition takes place to automatically order, by each timing device, the start of the competition at the same time on each site and on the base site of the start coordinator device to have a sports competition taking place live on all competition sites.
