  • Publication number: 20220036592
Abstract: A method for identifying a result of a test carried out from a fluidic sample, the fluidic sample being contained in a translucent container, the container being positioned on an area of interest of the container and opposite a dedicated area of the support. Ranges of reference colorimetric values and geometric references are printed on the support which also includes calibration colorimetric values printed in the at least one color calibration area.

  • Patent number: 8786416
Abstract: A control installation of the playing time of a sporting event, in particular of the basketball game type, includes a portable acquisition and detection system of a whistle signaling the stoppage of the playing time, the portable system converting the acoustic signals into digital signals, digitally processing these digital signals and delivering a digital refereeing signal in response to the detection of the whistle. The control installation further includes a fixed system for controlling the playing time in digital radio connection with the portable system and a controller for controlling the stoppage and/or restarting of a stopwatch counting down the playing time in response to the reception of the digital refereeing signal.

  • Patent number: 8762140
Abstract: A device for improving the intelligibility of a signal arising from a source subjected to a noisy environment, said source marking the signal with a specific signature, the device comprising a processing circuit receiving the signal; and means for analyzing the signal and parameterizing the processing circuit according to characteristics of the signature present in the signal. A first channel with low distortion conveys the signal from the source to the means for analyzing, and a second channel, susceptible to introduce a distortion, conveys the signal from the source to the processing circuit.

  • Patent number: 8705495
Abstract: The invention relates to a communication method using time-division multiplexing, which enables permanent communication between user terminals. One of the terminals is a master terminal, while the others are slave terminals. The transmission channel is divided into consecutive cycles, and each cycle is divided into timeslots. Each slave terminal identifies, in a listening mode, a free timeslot in the current cycle (6) and, in a transmission mode, transmits data in the identified timeslot during at least one subsequent cycle (7). As soon as the slave terminal stops transmitting, the identified slot becomes free again.

  • Publication number: 20130235702
Abstract: Installation (1) for controlling the playing time of a sporting event, in particular of the type found in basketball, comprising:—a portable system (2) for picking up and detecting a whistle blow (S4) that signals a stoppage in the playing time, said portable system converting the audible signals into digital signals, digitally processing these digital signals and outputting a digital refereeing signal (S23) in response to the detection of the whistle blow; and—a fixed system (3) for controlling the playing time, having a digital radio connection to the portable system and comprising control means (31) that stop and/or start a clock (32) that counts down the playing time in response to the reception of the digital refereeing signal. The invention also relates to just the portable system and to just the fixed system specially designed for the portable system, and also to a time-multiplexing digital audio communications terminal incorporating such a portable system.
