  • Patent number: 12701371
Abstract: A hearing instrument includes a housing wearable in an ear of a user and having a concha portion, a thin canal portion protruding from the concha portion, a receiver and a mechanically rigidly connected electronics unit including a battery, a signal processor and two microphones. The electronics unit is accommodated in the concha portion such that, in the intended wearing position of the hearing instrument, an upper side of the electronics unit faces away from the head of the user and a lower side of the electronics unit faces the head of the user. Each microphone is disposed on the upper side of the electronics unit, centered relative to a horizontal plane aligned approximately parallel to the transverse plane of the head of the user in the wearing position and intersects the concha portion of the housing centrally. A binaural hearing system is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20240357301
Abstract: A hearing instrument has a housing which is wearable in an ear of a user and which contains a concha portion and a thin canal portion protruding from the concha portion. The hearing instrument also contains a mechanically rigidly connected electronics unit and a receiver. The electronics unit is accommodated in the concha portion and has a battery, a signal processor, and at least one microphone. The receiver is accommodated, at least in part, in the canal portion, separately from the electronics unit. The electronics unit is mechanically coupled to the housing only by way of a plurality of discrete elastic cushioning elements.

  • Publication number: 20240357300
Abstract: A hearing instrument has a housing which is wearable in an ear and which includes a concha portion and a thin canal portion protruding from the concha portion. The canal portion has a twice-curved shape to fit to the anatomy of the auditory canal. A damping body is inserted in the canal portion which is made of an elastic material to mount a receiver in vibration-damping fashion. The damping body has a pocket for accommodating the receiver and an adjoining sound tube. The sound tube is angled at a first angle with respect to a longitudinal axis of the pocket, thereby forming a bend in the damping body, and its end distant from the pocket terminates in a support plate which rests on a shoulder of the canal portion. The support plate is angled obliquely with respect to an axis of the sound tube.

  • Patent number: 11974100
Abstract: A hearing device, in particular an in-the-ear hearing device, has a housing shell which encloses an electronics chamber like a cup. A cover plate is connected to the housing shell to terminate the electronics chamber. An electronics frame protrudes from the cover plate into the electronics chamber and by which an electric and/or an electronic component of the hearing device is reversibly mounted at least in directions parallel to the cover plate. At least one frame lock is reversibly coupled to the electronics frame, by which the electrical and/or electronic component is fixed on the electronics frame in a direction perpendicular to the cover plate.
