Abstract: Aspects of the invention include a system and a method of providing a scalable system architecture and methods facilitating user-requested content alerts. Additionally, aspects of the invention are directed to a system and method of providing customized alerts to a user link atoms corresponding to discrete subjects of information requested by the user to form molecules which can be received by an interactive media device to display the information corresponding to each atom. Other aspects of the invention include a system and a method of facilitating user-requested content utilizing Real Simple Syndication (RSS). The present invention is further directed at providing a system and method for expanding user-requested content, and systems and methods of facilitating monetization of user-requested content via electronic mail.

Abstract: Computer-based systems and methods for assisting buyers of goods and/or services. Different categories of information relating to a seller of goods and/or services are predefined and presented to a user as a visual representation of the seller in the form of a polygonal (e.g., hexagonal) diagram. The triangular area extending from each side of the hexagon to the center of the hexagon represents a defined category of information relating to a seller of goods and or services, with each triangular area being sub-divided to represent sub-categories of information. The triangular areas and sub-divided areas can include visual indicators indicating a ranking of the seller in an associated category or sub-category. In another aspect, the system is adapted to provide a buyer with an aggregate visual representation of a seller's performance in relation to a buyer's preferences.

Abstract: A set of golf shafts is disclosed. The set comprises a plurality of shafts that decrease in length along the set. Each shaft includes a reverse taper section disposed a distance from the tip section on each shaft. The distance of the reverse taper section varies along a number of shafts as the shaft length decreases.A golf club shaft is disclosed. The shaft includes a tip section, lower section, and an upper section. The tip section connects with a golf club head. The lower section includes a tapered section and a reverse taper section. The tapered section extends from the tip section. The tapered section increases in diameter in a direction away from the tip section. The reverse taper section extends between the tapered section and the upper section. The reverse taper section has a diameter that decreases in a direction away from the tip section. The shaft further includes a resilient plug wedged inside the shaft.
