  • Publication number: 20240019019
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a belt pulley decoupler for a motor vehicle drive train that includes a hub constituent part configured for attachment to a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, a flexible drive element pulley supported in a spring-damped manner relative to the hub constituent part, and a vibration absorber. The vibration absorber includes a mounting plate that extends from a fastening region, which is supported on the hub constituent part and connected to the hub constituent part in a positively locking and/or non-positive manner, radially outwards to a collar region which receives at least one mass element, has a plate portion which is supported axially on a flange element of the hub constituent part and which is held relative to the hub constituent part via an axially running dome portion formed either by the mounting plate or the flange element.

  • Publication number: 20230407942
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a crankshaft assembly for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, comprising a crankshaft segment and a vibration damper accommodated on the crankshaft segment. The vibration damper has a support fastened to the crankshaft segment and a damping unit accommodated on the support. A retaining plate of the support, which plate is secured to an end face of a flange region of the crankshaft segment, has a screw receiving hole for receiving a fastening screw that connects the support to the crankshaft segment. The retaining plate also has a centering region that is offset relative to the screw receiving hole in a circumferential direction and is intended to accommodate, or so as to directly form, a centering means supporting the support relative to the crankshaft segment in a centered manner.

  • Patent number: 11788601
Abstract: A centrifugal pendulum device having at least one flange and at least one centrifugal weight disposed displaceably on the flange. The centrifugal weight is guided displaceably on the flange by roller elements; the flange has openings with guide tracks situated radially outwardly, and the centrifugal weight has two side elements with a guide rail arranged therebetween and has guide tracks; the guide rail is inserted into an opening in the flange; the weight guide tracks are arranged radially inside the flange guide track such that they oppose each other in the radial direction at the same axial height, and roller elements are arranged radially therebetween; the flange having first and second openings with respective first and second guide tracks; the at least one centrifugal weight being inserted into one of the first or second openings depending on the choice of rotary vibration to be damped.

  • Publication number: 20230235811
Abstract: A crankshaft assembly for a motor vehicle drive trainincludes a crankshaft segment and a centrifugal pendulum secured to same, which has a carrier secured to the crankshaft segment and at least one pendulum mass that moves relative to the carrier along a predetermined track. The crankshaft assembly has a rupture containment means, which engages radially externally around the centrifugal pendulum such that components of the centrifugal pendulum coming lose during rotation of the centrifugal pendulum are collected by the rupture containment means.

  • Publication number: 20230213085
Abstract: A crankshaft assembly for a motor vehicle drive train, including a crankshaft segment and a centrifugal pendulum secured thereon, which has a carrier secured to the crankshaft segment and at least one pendulum mass that moves relative to the carrier along a predetermined track. The crankshaft assembly has a friction unit connected to the carrier, which rests on the at least one pendulum mass such that, with a relative movement of the pendulum mass in relation to the carrier, the friction unit applies a frictional torque on the pendulum mass counteracting the relative movement, wherein the friction unit extends over a peripheral section of less than 360°.

  • Publication number: 20210355999
Abstract: A torsional vibration damper comprising an input part arranged about an axis of rotation and an output part arranged such that it can rotate relative to same, about the axis of rotation and against the effect of a spring unit is provided. The spring unit is impacted in the peripheral direction respectively on the input side and the output side, and a torque-limiting unit, including a flange part impacting the spring unit on the output side and lateral parts arranged on both sides of the flange part and forming a frictional connection with same by means of an axial clamping, is arranged between the spring unit and a driven part of the output part. The flange part is clamped between a first and a second lateral part by a disc spring axially supported on a counter bearing of the first lateral part and axially pretensioning the second lateral par against the flange part.
