  • Publication number: 20100084464
Abstract: The transponder contains a winding of conductive wire coiled on a generally cylindrical ferrite bar and connected to an integrated circuit of identification by radiofrequency waves. The winding is made of a single layer of non-contiguous turns, formed with an uninsulated wire, and the integrated circuit is set up to operate at a frequency higher than 10 MHz and is directly attached to the ferrite bar, for example, on a flat part formed at the end of the bar, so as not to exceed the cylindrical volume determined by the bar and the winding. The reader contains a transmitting antenna formed by a flat winding and a receiving antenna with at least two wire assemblies disposed in flat spirals, each assembly containing two flat spirals wound in opposite directions.
