Abstract: A watercraft, equipped with a shielding fairing, is disclosed. The configuration and arrangement of the shielding fairing provides a shielded area rearward of the shielding fairing to shield an operator and passengers of the watercraft from water spray during operation of the watercraft. The shielding fairing is disposed on the deck of the watercraft, preferably between the gunwale and a portion of the deck adjacent to a hood at the front of the watercraft.
