  • Publication number: 20240371061
Abstract: System and methods for machine-assisted map editing tools are described. The system includes a machine-learning neural network trained to classify architectural data in a base map and generate a vectorized representation of the architectural data. The base map is presented to a user on a display interface for receiving user input tracing architectural features in the base map. The system then proposes or automatically places polygon objects representing the traced features in an editable map. The editable map may be superimposed on the base map on the display interface as it is drawn. The system may further detect the position of connections, classify enclosed spaces as room types. The machine-assisted map editing tools described herein provide a fast and efficient way for untrained users with no image/map editing experience to trace an architectural base map to generate an editable map of architectural features.

  • Publication number: 20230256802
Abstract: A block-like electric drive providing two single-wheel drives on one axle comprises two electric machines, each having a parallel rotor axis and a transmission on an end face. The single-wheel drives or the electric machines are arranged at least partially congruent with each other in a longitudinal vehicle direction for installation. A respective inverter serves to actuate each one of the two electric machines, the inverters being arranged next to each other at a highest point of the drive block in the installation position. The two electric machines are arranged one behind the other with regard to their housings. The drive block thus has two drives with separate transmission housings. Each drive can advantageously be equipped with a parking lock for blocking an output shaft. A locked state can thus be created in each drive combination.

  • Patent number: 6182562
Abstract: A cracking die assembly which is adapted for use in a high production nutcracking apparatus of the type wherein a nut is held between an anvil and a cracking die, and a shuttle then impacts against the rear end face of the cracking die to sharply advance the cracking die and thereby crack the shell of the nut. The cracking die assembly includes a mounting sleeve having a bore with an internal shoulder, and a tubular retainer mounted within a portion of the sleeve bore so as to engage the shoulder of the sleeve. An annular gasket is fixedly mounted in the bore of the retainer, and the cracking die is mounted in the bore of the retainer, and the cracking die has a radial flange which is positioned to lie between the shoulder in the bore of the sleeve, and the gasket. Also, the gasket and radial flange have conforming conical surfaces which engage when the cracking die is impacted by the shuttle, to thereby absorb the impacting force of the shuttle.
