Abstract: The presentation of information identifying a calling user of a terminal device (MS-A) to a called terminal device (MS-B) in a communication involving a radio access network is triggered upon receipt of an incoming call; if triggered, the information is presented to a user at a man machine interface (MMI) of the terminal device; a user input is collected via the man machine interface (MMI) in response to the presentation, and the received call is controlled according to the collected user input. It becomes advantageously possible to initiate a retrieval procedure for calling party identifying information while the call is being controlled by a service control device and prior to the routing of the call to the called terminal device.
