Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to efficiently determine the location of a mobile device based upon radio signals received by the mobile device. In the context of a method implemented by or on behalf of a mobile device, location information is received relating to a mobile device. The method also includes determining availability of one or more radio models in relation to a location estimate for the mobile device based upon the location information. The method further includes providing information to the mobile device regarding the availability of the one or more radio models in relation to the location estimate.

Abstract: A method is disclosed comprising: determining, using a processor, whether a radio model of at least one radio node associated with a data set is incomplete based on a comparison between the coverage area of the radio model of the at least one radio node and a cumulative coverage area generated out of radio models of the at least one radio node associated with a plurality of data sets, wherein a data collection comprises the plurality of data sets and the data collection is indicative to at least one indoor radio map. Abstract: A system and method for enforcing a security policy in a distributed system. A request is transmitted to a receiving program on a first virtual machine to permit a requesting program on a second virtual machine to access the receiving program. A first call stack is accessed in the target virtual machine to determine whether the requesting program is permitted to access the receiving program. A second call stack, in the originating virtual machine, is accessed to determine whether the requesting program is permitted to access the receiving program. If the requesting program is permitted to access the receiving program, the receiving program is invoked. If the requesting program is not permitted to access the receiving program a signal indicating access is not allowed is transmitted.

Abstract: A method is provided for mobile terminals (106) to request WAP content from a network (102). The network comprises a gateway (106) via which a mobile terminal having a display can access a plurality of content servers (110, 118) each having stored therein content pages. The network is run by a network operator. The mobile terminal sends a request to the gateway for a content page to be provided by one of the content servers and the gateway obtains the content page and provides it to the mobile terminal. Before doing this, the gateway uses a WAP content proxy (112) to insert into the content page a link to a home page of the network operator which thus enables a user of the mobile terminal always to have presented a link option to go to the network operator's home page.
