Abstract: A bathtub protector includes a layer of protective material to cover at least the upper surfaces and front surface of a bathtub, and a layer of adhesive material on a surface of the protective material for adhering the protective material to a surface of the bathtub. The bathtub protector may include a central portion, which may be delineated by markings or perforations, which can be removed from the remainder of the tub and adhered to the bottom of the tub.

Abstract: A protective device is provided in which the protective device comprises an upper surface configured to fit over a door threshold and the fasteners which ordinarily secure the threshold are also utilized to secure the protective device. In certain embodiments, the protective device may be formed from a translucent or transparent plastic, so as to enable the accurate placement of apertures within the device. A method for installing a protective device is also provided, which includes placing the protective device over a door threshold and securing it in place using the same fasteners which are used to secure the threshold. In certain embodiments, the method may include trimming the device to fit the doorway, or forming apertures in the device to receive the fasteners.

Abstract: A protective device is provided in which the protective device comprises a bag configured to fit over a toilet to be protected. An opening in the bag permits placement of the bag over a toilet, and a securing feature can be used to secure the bag to the toilet. In certain embodiments, the securing feature comprises a drawstring. In other embodiments, the bag may comprise printed text, such as a warning not to use the protected fixture. In yet other embodiments, small holes can be provided in the bag for safety purposes. A protected toilet is also provided, in which a toilet is protected by a protective device, as discussed above. A method of protecting a toilet is also provided, in which a bag is placed over a toilet and secured to the toilet.
