  • Patent number: 5886673
Abstract: An adapter for facilitating the portability of satellite antennas includes a first side adapted for attachment to a satellite base and a second side adapted to releasably engaging a base unit. A plurality of base units are typically attached to desired locations for the satellite antenna, such as a home, recreational vehicle, cabin or boat. By simply releasing the adapter from the base unit, the satellite antenna may be conveniently moved to another desired location.
