Abstract: The invention relates to a traditional bicycle which can be easily transported in a car owing to the following components, namely a frame comprising (i) a section (3,4) connector system which is equipped with a fitting having an axial bore for the movement of an automatic bolt and (i) a device (13); for connecting the brake and chainwheel cables, such that the frame can be disassembled and reassembled in an instant; a handlebar stem (46) which can be oriented by manoeuvring a lever in order immediately to position the handlebar parallel to the front wheel, such that said handlebar has a minimum amount of clearance; and pedals (77) which can be quickly folded down against the cranks of the crankset, such that said pedals have the minimum clearance width.
