  • Patent number: 10217581
Abstract: An actuation system of a vacuum bottle for an electrical connection device, the vacuum bottle including one movable electrode and one fixed electrode, the movable electrode being movable longitudinally between a closed position in which the two electrodes are in contact with each other and an open position in which the two electrodes are separated. The actuation system includes an adjusting nut linked to the movable electrode and capable of rotation for adjusting its position in relation to the movable electrode, a driving device acting on the adjusting nut for driving the movable electrode towards the open position, and a locking device for locking the position of the adjusting nut in relation to the movable electrode.

  • Patent number: 9058948
Abstract: A current breaking device including a main stationary contact; a vacuum cartridge connected to the main contact and, having a rod supporting a second movable contact for connection with a second stationary contact on the main contact; a main movable contact for connection with, the main stationary contact; and a rigid rocker arm pivotally connected to the actuating rod of the vacuum cartridge, and about another axis fixed with respect to the main stationary contact and vacuum cartridge, so that upon rotation of the rocker arm to open both the main and second contacts, the main contacts are opened before the second contacts, and upon rotation in the opposite direction the second contacts are fully closed before any movement of the main contacts toward closure.

  • Patent number: 8581135
Abstract: The embodiments of the switch described herein include latching and locking systems so as to retain the rod of a vacuum bottle in a determined, open or closed, position, the systems being driven and controlled by the same means that cause the movable portion of the vacuum bottle to move, or by the disconnector itself.

  • Publication number: 20120187090
Abstract: This current breaking device comprises, as operating mechanism of a vacuum cartridge branch-connected on a main circuit to a main movable contact, a rocker arm intercepting the main movable contact during opening or closing of the apparatus and rotating to open the vacuum cartridge while establishing an electric connection. This rocker arm is unitary and rigid and can rotate around two articulation points, one of which is active during opening operations and the other during closing operations, to then enable the rocker arm, which being unitary is more robust, to be retracted.

  • Patent number: 8227721
Abstract: This interrupter device includes a parallel branch (4) in which a vacuum switch chamber is connected for breaking current. The branch is inactive in normal operation, with current flowing in it only when the disconnector (2) has started its opening movement, by progressive transfer of the current from the main power line (1) to the branch (4). Since the vacuum switch (6) is generally at rest, it no longer needs to be dimensioned to satisfy stringent electrical and dielectric requirements for normal operation.

  • Publication number: 20120048692
Abstract: The embodiments of the switch described herein include latching and locking systems (24) so as to retain the rod (13) of a vacuum bottle (10) in a determined, open or closed, position, the systems being driven and controlled by the same means that cause the movable portion of the vacuum bottle to move, or by the disconnector (4) itself.
