  • Patent number: 11498249
Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of thermoplastic polymer compositions for impregnating reinforcing materials in the form of fabric or industrial fabrics for the manufacture of composite materials. The field of the invention is that of composite materials as well as molding/consolidation processes and obtained parts. The invention more particularly relates to a method of manufacturing a composite article by injection molding comprising at least the steps of introducing at least one reinforcement fabric into a preheated mold, partial closure of the mold, a temperature rise step of the mold, optionally a step of maintaining the temperature of the mold before injection of a thermoplastic polymer composition, a step of injecting a thermoplastic polymer composition into the mold, a step of mold closure to the final part thickness allowing the flow of the resin through the reinforcing fabric, a cooling step and a recovery step of the obtained composite article.

  • Patent number: 6123064
Abstract: A heating system has a modular section which can be converted to use as a store or boiler and to burn either solid or liquid and gaseous fuels. The system can be further expanded by addition of more than one module to increase the heating capacity of the system.

  • Patent number: 5704982
Abstract: A nozzle for distributing at least one current of precursor gases onto a surface of a moving glass substrate by pyrolysis/decomposition reaction includes a nozzle body, a principal gas feed system for feeding at least one current of precursor gases into the nozzle of the body, and an auxiliary gas feed system independent of the principal gas feed system for feeding at least one of the precursor gases to the nozzle body in the proximity of the principal gas of the nozzle body for locally modifying the chemical composition of the principal gas. The auxiliary gas flow into the nozzle body is controlled at a flow rate which is variable in time.

Inventors: Jean-Francois Oudard, Pascal Crampon, Patrice Jacquet
  • Patent number: 5322540
Abstract: A method of depositing a coating on a glass substrate by pyrolysis, which entails:superheating a face of a substrate intended for receiving a coating to a temperature higher than or equal to the softening temperature of the substrate, and depositing the coating without any homogenization of the temperature throughout the substrate to a value going above the softening temperature of said substrate being produced within the thickness of the substrate.
