Abstract: A bioconjugate of an E. coli glucosylated O4 antigen polysaccharide covalently linked to a carrier protein and compositions thereof are provided. Also provided are recombinant host cells for producing the bioconjugate, and methods of producing the bioconjugate using the recombinant host cells. The recombinant host cells contain a nucleic acid encoding a glucosyl transferase capable of modifying the E. coli O4 antigen with glucose branching to produce the glucosylated O4 antigen polysaccharide. Bioconjugates of an E. coli glucosylated O4 antigen polysaccharide described herein can be used alone or in combination with one or more additional E. coli O-antigen polysaccharides to induce antibodies against an E. coli glucosylated antigen, and to vaccinate a subject against extra-intestinal pathogenic E. coli (ExPEC).

Abstract: This Solar Street Light would be available as an innovative lighting method. They would be positioned approximately 75 feet high a Pole above the streets, and A 50 feet high Pole over the highways. This Solar Street Lights could provide some sense of peace of mind in knowing that there is an effective device available to provide light in areas where there is no light, with less taxpaying dollars. This Solar Street Lights has the potential to become an important ingredient in this recipe of energy usage technology. This Solar Street Light would have Two large Boxes one an each side of the pole far visual seeing, using the largest Battery Pack known plus an electrical Backup. This Solar Street Light would be a great safety device, for Street where animals are and for areas where people walk or ride there bikes or for automobiles that have stopped along the highways. This Solar Street Light will house more light for world safety everywhere.

Abstract: The invention described herein encompasses (1) artificial preproproteins and the polynucleotides encoding them, (2) methods for producing these biomolecules, and (3) methods for their use. The artificial preproproteins of this invention comprise a protein assembly capable of producing a multimeric protein from a single protein. FIG. 4 illustrates generally the process by which a polynucleotide encoding the artificial preproprotein is introduced into a cell and a biomolecule of interest is produced.

Abstract: Patients are sometimes required to carry various medical appliances such as cardiac, gastric, or sleep apnea monitors, or medication injectors (either infusion pumps or other intravenous injectors). To carry these devices comfortably, a garment is worn having a pouch and shoulder straps. The pouch can be worn on the chest or back of the patient. The shoulder straps extend over the shoulders and are affixed to secure the garment to the wearer. In one embodiment, the ends of the straps are attached to a region near the bottom of the pouch. In a second embodiment, a back strap is passed around the patient's lower torso and the ends affixed to a region near the bottom of the pouch, and the shoulder straps affixed to the back strap.

Abstract: The invention includes a doll transformable between two characters or persona. The doll includes interconnected upper body portions of each character or persona. A stand portraying the lower body portion of at least one of the characters or persona receives the upper body portion not in use. Assembly of the stand with one of the upper body portions extending therefrom gives the illusion of a complete character or persona.
