Abstract: A nestable training stand is provided. The stand includes a central frame member having upper and lower portions; and a base operatively coupled to the lower portion. The base comprises a U-shaped or V-shaped base member having first and second end portions; and a support member connected to and extending upwardly from the first and second end portions to the central frame member. One or more upper and/or lower weight support pins are coupled to the support member and central frame, respectively, and extend outward for holding weights to prevent the stand from moving. The central frame support may include a bend between a first point where it couples to the U-shaped or V-shaped base member and a second point where it couples to support member to shift the center of gravity of the stand backwards.

The head-shaped target includes (a) a striking target body shaped to approximate a human head and operative to receive strikes, the striking target body having a padded surface; (b) an attachment member configured to releasably couple the head-shaped target to a support shaft of the training stand; and/or (c) an angled extension attachment coupling the striking target body to the attachment member, the angled extension attachment having a resilient spring positioned at an angle relative to the support shaft and the striking target body to enable the angled extension attachment to provide a resiliently deformable engagement between the striking target body and the support shaft.

In a second position, the legs and central support shaft extend perpendicular relative to each other into a self-supporting stand having the central support shaft in a substantially vertical position. A plurality of striking pads is releasably coupled to the central support shaft by a quick release connector. A T-bar support attaches to the central support shaft. The plurality of striking pads approximate the positioning of the hands of a person in an offensive/defensive position, the head of the person and the torso of the person.

In a second position, the legs and central support extend perpendicular to each other into a self-supporting stand having the central support in a substantially vertical position. The training device may further include a plurality of striking pads attachable to the central support. The collapsible stand may include one or more telescoping shafts that slide into and out of the central support to a desired height. The training device may further comprise a horizontal support bar attachable to the central support, wherein horizontal support bar serves to couple additional striking pads. At least one striking pad may be shaped as a human head and attached to the upper portion of the central support.

Abstract: One aspect provides a wearable garment having built-in massage components at multiple positions to massage areas of the thighs and/or lower butt. The garment may be adjustable to fit users of different sizes. This wearable massager provides a deep massage in areas that are difficult and/or tedious to get to when using other do-it-yourself massagers. This wearable massager employs a rotating longitudinal friction action (in contrast to a vibrating action) thereby eliminating the need to push on the massager. The wearable massager may allow a wearer to relax while receiving a massage.

Abstract: A motion detection system for personalized identification is described. A sensor including a two dimensional array of pixel sensors is used to get an indication of a person's bodily features. These bodily features can be compared with a stored database in order to determine whether the person is a criminal or terrorist suspect.

Abstract: A training aid device uses an infrared sensor. The infrared sensor includes an infrared light source to produce pulses of infrared light and optics that focus reflections from the infrared light pulse from different portions of the environment to different detectors in a 2D array of detectors. The detectors produce an indication of the distances of the closest object(s) in the associated portion of the environment. The processor uses the indications from the infrared sensor to compare the user action to a model action. The processor initiates feedback to the user based on the comparison.

Abstract: A consumer assembleable reclinable massaging chair in which the back support, seat and leg support are capable of assembly and disassembly by a consumer. The present chair can be conveniently shipped to the consumer for assembly by the consumer as individual unassembled components or combination of unassembled and/or assembled components in one or more shipping containers having a length dimension no greater than 108 inches and a girth dimension no greater than a difference between 130 inches and the dimension. The shipping container containing the chair components preferably do not exceed 150 pounds.

Abstract: A computer game system uses an infrared sensor which produces an infrared light to produce pulse of infrared light. Optics focus reflections from the infrared light pulse from different portions of the environment to different detectors in a 2D array of detectors. The detectors produce indications of the distance of the closest objects. The indications can be used by a processor to determine each action. The determined action can be used as input to a computer game. The infrared sensor can also be used with a musical keyboard system.
