Abstract: A garment for providing circulatory-related disorder therapy includes a skin contacting layer, a backing layer, and a coupling. The backing layer is coupled to the skin contacting layer such that the skin contacting layer and the backing layer form a plurality of macro-chambers. A first one of the plurality of macro-chambers is partitioned into a plurality of micro-chambers. Each of the plurality of micro-chambers is in direct fluid communication with at least one other of the plurality of micro-chambers. The coupling is coupled to the backing layer and is configured to supply pressurized air directly into the first macro-chamber such that the pressurized air is delivered to a first one of the plurality of micro-chambers of the first macro-chamber.

Abstract: Systems and methods for database searching and data analysis with simultaneous, unified access to multiple heterogeneous data sources with effective reuse of user search session information for data analysis. The systems comprise a data source containing at least a partial copy of at least two public databases, at least one search program module operatively coupled to the data source and configured to carry out a search of the databases in the data source according to a user query, a data mining module operatively coupled to the data source and configured to provide for clustering of search results or documents from the user query and a user interface program module operatively coupled to the search program module and the data mining module, the user interface program module configured provide a visual interface for creating the user query and viewing the search results.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for determining a solution to a problem where paths in at least one pursuit associated with the problem are traversed to generate one or more decision paths by processing one or more nodes in a given one of the paths, including: evaluating a premise if the node is a premise node, and passing the premise node if the premise passes, and noting a conclusion if the node is a conclusion node, withdrawing any previous conclusions that are not associated with a parent node of the conclusion, and passing the conclusion node; processing a child node if the current node is not a leaf node and is a node that passes; terminating a decision path if the child node cannot be processed, including asserting all noted, but non-withdrawn conclusions as a solution to the problem; and generating another decision path.
