  • Patent number: 11752369
Abstract: A mask system includes a headphone part having two ear cups and an elastic headband bearing the ear cups, an oxygen mask part having an oxygen mask arranged pivotably on the headband, and a spectacles part having protective spectacles arranged pivotably on the headband. The oxygen mask part can make the oxygen mask, with headband mounted on a head, move into a usage setting and a rest setting. The oxygen mask, in the usage setting, covers a mouth and nose of a user and, in the rest setting, lies at least partially above the headband mounted on a head. The spectacles part can make the protective spectacles, with headband mounted on the head, pivot into a usage setting and a rest setting. The protective spectacles, in the usage setting, cover the eyes of a user and, in the rest setting, lie at least partially above the headband.

  • Patent number: 11434009
Abstract: Described herein are a system for providing oxygen to oxygen masks in an aircraft, and an associated method for regulating the oxygen flow in an efficient manner. The system has an oxygen tank, oxygen masks, first and second oxygen lines, and an electrically controllable valve. The valve is coupled to the oxygen tank and the two oxygen lines. The oxygen masks are coupled to the oxygen lines downstream of the valve to accommodate the transfer of oxygen from the oxygen tank via the valve. In a working state when an electrical signal is applied the valve produces a connection between the oxygen tank and the first oxygen line when required, and permanently prevents a connection between the oxygen tank and the second oxygen line. When in a rest state, the valve produces a permanent connection between the oxygen tank and the second oxygen line.

  • Publication number: 20220241621
Abstract: The invention relates to an oxygen mask for supplying oxygen to a person, which can be modified for use on differently sized faces. The oxygen mask has a holding frame, which has a first cross-brace and a second cross-brace, a substantially gas-impermeable material arranged on the holding frame and which can be stretched between the first cross-brace and the second cross-brace, a headband connected to the holding frame, an exhalation valve arranged on the material and penetrating the material, and an oxygen supply line for providing oxygen to an inside of the oxygen mask, wherein the first cross-brace and the second cross-brace are arranged in two lateral holders, which are opposite each other, wherein at least the first cross-brace is flexible and wherein the distance of the lateral holders to each other is adjustable at least between a first and a second distance.
