  • Publication number: 20100252567
Abstract: A refillable label dispenser for dispensing labels from a stack includes a bottom section and a pair of elastically deformable wing sections extending from opposite ends of the bottom section in overlapping spaced relation relative to the bottom section, thereby forming a generally flat C-shaped dispenser configuration. When the labels in the dispenser are exhausted, the wings are elastically flexed to allow the dispenser to accommodate a new stack of labels.

  • Publication number: 20100116425
Abstract: A linerless stack of adhesive labels comprising a plurality of labels, each label comprising a sheet having front face and rear face and a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive on only a portion of the rear face, each label having a separable tab portion and label portion is provided. Also, a method for labeling an article comprising: providing a linerless stack of labels; providing an article; removing the uppermost label from the stack by lifting or pull on its tab portion so as to cause the adhesive on the uppermost label to separate from the front face of the underlying label; then positioning the removed label in desired position on an article; adhering the label to the article with the adhesive; and separating the tab portion of the label from the label portion of the label.

  • Publication number: 20080063842
Abstract: A repositionable privacy note is provided. In one exemplary embodiment, the note includes a substrate having opposing first and second surfaces, top and bottom edges, and a folding region disposed between the top and bottom edges creating in the note a top portion between the folding region and the top edge and a bottom portion between the folding region and the bottom edge. The note also includes a first privacy adhesive disposed on the first surface of the substrate. The note further includes a repositionable adhesive disposed on the second surface of the substrate.

  • Patent number: 5786062
Abstract: Attachment strips that can be withdrawn from an enclosure, each comprising a flexible backing layer, a field of hooks along and projecting from one of its surfaces; and a first layer of pressure sensitive adhesive along one of its surfaces. The strips can be releasably adhered to each other by their layers of adhesive to form a stack in which first and second ends of successive strips are adjacent.

  • Patent number: 5688579
Abstract: A mounting composite for removably mounting sheet materials on a vertical wall formed of woven or knitted fabric. The mounting composite comprises a support layer with means along its front surface for retaining and displaying sheet materials, and a fastener attached along a rear major surface of the support layer. The fastener can include a multiplicity of aligned curved hook-like projections, or upstanding stems with mushroom heads. The mounting composite can be firmly removably attached on a vertical wall covered with woven or knitted fabric by engagement of the hook-like projections mushroom heads with the fibers of the fabric.

  • Patent number: 4855170
Abstract: Tape products for diverse end users are obtained by applying to a sheet backing a layer of normally tacky and pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) containing and completely surrounding resilient non-tacky hollow thermoplastic polymeric microspheres. When the PSA is permanently bonded to the backing and the exposed surface has an irregular contour, a removable and repositionable product results. When the PSA forms a continuous matrix that is strippably bonded to the backing and is 1 mm or more thick, the resultant product is a foamlike transfer tape or foam tape. Depending on the product, the PSA can contain from about 1/5 to about 2/3% of the microspheres by volume.
