  • Patent number: 9898513
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system, method and computer program product that is a multi-dimensional data mining environment and that operable to apply a series of temporal and relative rules (i.e., STDMn0) and is further operable in at least one of the following ways: to incorporate a framework to support temporal abstractions and relative alignments to data (i.e., STDMn0); and to derive characteristics within the data (STDMn0). The present invention may incorporate data from multiple sources, and potentially multiple centers. The analysis and alignment of the data may involve both temporal dimensions and other dimensions (or relative aspects) of the data. The present invention may further be a data mining environment that is flexible enough to permit relatively open ended queries thereby enabling, for example, the detection of trends, including trends with new dimensions, or trends based on relatively small data sets.

  • Patent number: 8563800
Abstract: A sacral wound dressing having a bottom end with three substantially V-shaped projections. In use, a protective layer of the wound dressing is removed to expose an adhesive layer and an absorbent layer, the wound dressing is folded over on itself substantially along a central axis, a medial V-shaped projection is inserted into a superior portion of the gluteal cleft of the person to adhere the medial projection to the skin within the gluteal cleft, two lateral V-shaped projections are then pushed against a superior portion of the buttocks of the person to adhere the lateral projections to the skin, and the opposing lateral ends and the top end of the wound dressing are then pushed against the skin of the person until the wound dressing is properly adhered to the sacrococcygeal region over the sacral wound.

  • Publication number: 20110125531
Abstract: A method and system for analyzing historical medical provider billings to statistically establish a normative utilization profile. Comparison of a medical provider's utilization profile with a normative profile is enabled. Based on historical treatment patterns and a fee schedule, an accurate model of the cost of a specific medical episode can be created. Various treatment patterns for a particular diagnosis can be compared by treatment cost and patient outcome to determine the most cost-effective treatment approach. It is also possible to identify those medical providers who provide treatment that does not fall within the statistically established treatment patterns or profiles.

  • Publication number: 20070184666
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for removing residue from a cavity during the formation of an interconnect structure, a method for manufacturing an interconnect structure using the same, and a method for manufacturing an integrated circuit using the same. The method for removing residue from a cavity during the formation of an interconnect structure, among other steps, may include subjecting residue (410) having an embedded metal therein located within a cavity (310) in a dielectric layer (240) and over at least a portion of a conductive feature (220) to a short duration oxidation process so as to oxidize a substantial portion of the embedded metal, and removing the residue (410) containing the oxidized embedded metal using an etch process.

  • Publication number: 20070117341
Abstract: A method (100) of fabricating an electronic device (200) formed on a semiconductor wafer. The method forms a layer (215) of a first material in a fixed position relative to the wafer. The first material has a dielectric constant less than 3.6. The method also forms a photoresist layer in (216) a fixed position relative to the layer of the first material. The method also forms at least one void (220) through the layer of the first material in response to the photoresist layer. Further, the method subjects (106) the semiconductor wafer to a plasma which incorporates a gas which includes hydrogen so as to remove the photoresist layer.

  • Publication number: 20060281312
Abstract: The present invention provides a photoresist removal process and a method for manufacturing an interconnect using the same. One embodiment of the photoresist removal process includes, among other steps, providing a low dielectric constant (k) substrate having a photoresist layer located thereover, and removing the photoresist layer using a plasma which incorporates a gas which includes hydrogen or deuterium and a small amount of oxygen less than about 20 volume percent of the gas. Another embodiment of the photoresist removal process includes, among other steps, providing a low dielectric constant (k) substrate having a photoresist layer located thereover, removing a bulk portion of the photoresist layer using a plasma which incorporates a gas which includes hydrogen or deuterium, and removing a small portion of the photoresist layer using a plasma which incorporates a gas which includes oxygen, wherein the order of the two removing steps is interchangeable.
