Patent number: 11962717Abstract: Technology for determining a queue position of a call from a user can include receiving, at an enterprise, the call from a user device associated with the user. The user device includes an application associated with the enterprise. The call is placed into an on-hold queue. A weighted level of importance associated with the call is determined based on call history information associated with the user device and call frequency associated with the user. The weighted level of importance is compared to at least one weight threshold. A wait time for the call is decreased based on the weighted level of importance meeting or exceeding the at least one weight threshold.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2022Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAAInventors: Gregory David Hansen, Megan Sarah Jennings, Emily Margaret Gray, Gregory B Yarbrough, Charles Balasingh, Janelle Denice Dziuk, Samip Dilip Mehra, David Patrick Dixon

Patent number: 11920814Abstract: A method of controlling an agricultural facility for housing a plurality of animals includes the step of regulating the environment within the agricultural facility with an automated building operational system. An automated thermal event controller is operationally coupled with the automated building operational system and generates a thermal event signal in response to a thermal event in progress, whereby the automated thermal event controller, upon receipt of the thermal event signal indicating that the thermal event is in progress, activates an alarm state. In the alarm state, the automated thermal event controller: sends an alarm signal to a system administrator; places the automated building operational system in a safety-mode condition for a first predetermined time interval; and places the automated building operational system in a normal-mode operational condition after the first predetermined time interval and if a confirmatory signal is not yet then received from the system administrator.Type: GrantFiled: March 24, 2022Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: PRISM CONTROLS INC.Inventors: Sean Patrick Ryan, Kyle E. Patent number: 9259745Abstract: This document discusses, among other things, apparatus and methods for a multi-section applicator having variable-rate sections. In an example, an apparatus can include at least one distribution manifold, a user interface, and an applicator controller. The at least one distribution manifold distributes a substance and can include an inlet port configured to receive the substance, a plurality of outlet ports, one or more sensors located at an outlet port, a controllable valve that supplies the substance to the inlet port. The applicator controller measures a value of the distribution parameter using the sensor signal produced by the at least one sensor of an outlet port, detects when the measured value differs from a specified target value by more than a specified error threshold value, and presents an indication, using the user interface, that the measured value differs from the target value according to the detection.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2013Date of Patent: February 16, 2016Assignee: Raven Industries, Inc.Inventors: Jared Ernest Kocer, Joshua D. Patent number: 6714113Abstract: An inductor is integrated in VLSI and ULSI technology products for very high frequency applications. The inductor is in a microstrip transmission line configuration which can be designed in a form of straight line, spiral line or Meander line. The inductor is formed by shorting the microstrip center conductor to the lower level ground plane at one end of the transmission line. This results in an inductance which, for a given design of transmission line, and in a specified frequency range, is independent of frequency, within the operating design range. The microstrip transmission line provides an inductance which could be used on any type of substrate, with either low or high resistivity. The microstrip transmission line could utilize two or all of the metal wiring levels of the technology, allowing a wide range of inductance and quality factor design tradeoffs.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2000Date of Patent: March 30, 2004Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Wagdi Abadeer, Robert A.
