  • Publication number: 20140043682
Abstract: Eyewear having a pivoted engagement of lenses with a lens frame worn on the head of the user. A lens assembly holding the lens or lenses is rotatable out of the user's view when not required for viewing such as when conversing with a friend or when wearing tinted lenses and needing unfiltered viewing. Biasing of the rotatable assembly provides for automatic rotation upward out of the field of view of the user upon release of a retaining component. The rotational engagement of lenses relative to a head worn frame may be employed in combination with prescription lenses, sunglass lenses, or 3D filtering lenses for viewing 3D media in the same rotational engagement and in one mode of the device are removable.

  • Publication number: 20050193478
Abstract: A goggle (12) having removable/replaceable outriggers (16) conveniently detachably engaged with the sidewalls (14) of the goggles. The outriggers (16) have an aperture (26) in communication with a venting aperture (30) communicating through the sidewall (14) to the eye cavity (28). Pins (18) project from flexible/compressible top and bottom walls of the outrigger (16) to engage within receiving cavities (24) formed in the goggle sidewalls (14).

  • Publication number: 20050183190
Abstract: A goggle (12), shaped to conform to a human face includes a body defining a top wall (19) and sidewalls (21) dimensioned to form a continuous contour which closely matches the shape and size of a facial aperture (41) formed in a helmet (38), thereby to form a smooth, contoured combined goggle and helmet exterior surface. At least one air intake aperture (24, 25, 26) communicates through the goggle lens (16) or goggle body to an eye cavity (18). At least one venting aperture (30) communicates through the sidewalls (12) of the goggle body with the eye cavity (18).

  • Publication number: 20050160521
Abstract: An improved sport goggle for skiing, motorcycling, paintball, racing, and other sports featuring clip-mounted side apertures communicating with the eye cavity of the goggle through adjacent venting apertures. Venting of the eye cavity of the sport goggle is aided by forming of the clip shape to create low pressure zones adjacent to the side venting apertures. The clips are rotationally attached to the goggle to provide an adjustable mount for the strap around heads or helmets while still forming the negative air pressure zone in all rotated positions. The clips may also be provided in a kit of differently dimensioned clips to adjust the negative air pressure venting characteristics of the clips and goggle to the intended sport or task.

  • Publication number: 20030062616
Abstract: A structure and method thereof for providing an electrically conductive path between a first conductive point and a second conductive point. The structure includes an insulating material disposed between the first conductive point and the second conductive point. A dipole material is distributed within the insulating material. The dipole material is comprised of randomly oriented magnetic particles. The magnetic particles in a selected localized region of the insulating material are aligned to form an electrically conductive path between the first conductive point and the second conductive point through the insulating material.
