Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for notifying a user regarding movement of a content item which the user has previously expressed interest in, to a new network location. In one or more aspects, a system includes a notification generation component configured to generate a notification indicating a content item has been moved from a first content source to a second content source in response to movement of the content item from the first content source to the second content source. The system further includes a notification posting component configured to send the notification to a device or an account of a user based in part on a subscription of the user to the first content source or the content item.

Abstract: A method for splitting content channels is disclosed. The method includes identifying, by a processing device of a content sharing platform, result channels originating from a target channel of the content sharing platform, wherein each of the result channels corresponds to a set of users of the target channel that view a similar set of content items from the target channel. The method may further include, for each of the result channels, subscribing, by the processing device to the result channel, the set of users that corresponds to the result channel, and associating, by the processing device to the result channel, the set of the content items of the target channel that corresponds to the subscribed set of users of the result channel.

Abstract: Both content creators and content consumers can benefit by improving communication mechanisms that currently exist. For example, content creators can increase the appeal of content by leveraging the energy of fans, but it is often difficult to identify which content consumers are the best or top fans. However, such can be identified based on various metrics, for example, based on engagement and/or influence of the content consumer. Once the set of top fans is identified, content creators can interact, potentially exclusively, with the set of top fans, which can enhance the experience for all parties involved.

Abstract: Systems and methods that relate to security enforcement for shared content are described. A system includes an interface component that facilitates a display of information indicative of an option to select a defined level of security for a first subset of content of a plurality of content, wherein the defined level of security is indicative of a first type of secure environment. The first type of secure environment can be a hypertext transfer secure (HTTPS) environment or any environment in which content is encrypted prior to transmission over the Internet. A security component determines an association between the first subset of content and the defined level of security; and generates decision information to facilitate output, to a device, of the first subset of content associated with the defined level of security based on a determination that the device provides the first type of secure environment.

Abstract: A system and machine-implemented method for providing a suggestion for a uniform resource locator (URL) on an electronic device. One or more URLs are identified within content of at least one document accessed by the electronic device. Each of the identified one or more URLs are added to a list of suggested URLs. A request for a URL suggestion is received in association with an application running on the electronic device. In response to the received request, the URL suggestion is provided based on the list of suggested URLs.

Abstract: Technologies for providing DC arc protection in a DC socket include an electromagnet positioned in the DC socket configured to produce a magnetic field. The electromagnet is positioned to be adjacent to a contact region between one or more supply terminals of a DC socket and one or more prongs of a DC plug. As the DC plug is disconnected from the DC socket, a DC arc might form between one or more of the supply terminals and one or more of the prongs. The magnetic field produced by the electromagnet reduces the energy of the DC arc and reduces the time duration of the DC arc.

Abstract: Technologies for providing DC arc protection in a DC socket include an electromagnet positioned in the DC socket configured to produce a magnetic field. The electromagnet is positioned to be adjacent to a contact region between one or more supply terminals of a DC socket and one or more prongs of a DC plug. As the DC plug is disconnected from the DC socket, a DC arc might form between one or more of the supply terminals and one or more of the prongs. Abstract: In some implementations, a method for providing personalized and contextual notifications of content releases is disclosed. The method includes: receiving a request pertaining to a first content item, wherein the request is initiated by a first user; determining, using a processing device, whether the first content item is associated with a first notification of an upcoming event pertaining to a second content item, wherein the second content item is to be provided by a second user; causing the first notification to be presented to the first user in response to determining that the first content item is associated with the first notification; receiving, during a presentation of the first notification to the first user, a request initiated by the first user for a second notification of the upcoming event; and causing the second notification of the upcoming event to be presented to the first user at a later time.

Abstract: A method for generating content sharing platform playlists and subscriptions based on user history is disclosed. The method includes identifying one or more entities of a content sharing platform to which a user is not subscribed, providing a user interface (UI) associated with the user, the UI displaying the identified one or more entities as recommended suggestions to the user, receiving, by the user via the UI, an indication of a selection of an entity of the identified one or more entities, generating a subscription to the selected entity for the user on the content sharing platform, using content items associated with the subscribed entity to originate a playlist for the user, and providing the playlist on the UI associated with the user.

A user selection of the plurality of channels associated with the topic of interest is received and the user is subscribed to the plurality of channels in response to the received user selection.

Abstract: The present invention provides novel hydrogels through peptides, which are designed to self-assemble and produce magnetic resonance (MR) contrast through chemical exchange saturation transfer (CEST). The location and integrity of these gels could consequently be tracked using MR imaging. The self-assembly of the peptides into hydrogels can be brought about by a change in pH, ionic strength, temperature, and concentration of ions.

Abstract: A subscribability is calculated for a channel on the web. One or more activity metrics related to the subscribability of a plurality of channels viewable over the Internet are identified. For each of the plurality of channels, an activity measure associated with the channel is obtained for each of the one or more activity metrics. For each of the plurality of channels, a subscribability score for the channel is calculated based on the one or more activity measures associated with the channel.
