  • Publication number: 20210109976
Abstract: A search engine may maintain a list of derived metadata. When an event occurs that requires updating a search index, the search engine can determine which metadata is derived metadata and take appropriate actions with respect to the derived metadata. For example, if a request is received to update the index for a particular object, the search engine may protect the derived metadata from change while updating the other metadata in the index. As another example, if a request is received to update the text content for the object, the search engine may change the text content and the derived metadata. By identifying derived metadata, the search engine can protect the derived metadata from change when a request is received that otherwise causes metadata to change and can change the derived metadata when a request is received that would otherwise not change the metadata portion of the index.

  • Patent number: 10979306
Abstract: The invention comprises a user friendly investment strategy platform. This invention allows for a drag-and-drop platform for various sectors, strategies, vehicles, and timing in the form of blocks. This allows a user to generate any desired resource management strategy and the system may deploy the strategy as a simulated resource management action. Furthermore, the system allows for deployment of the resource action live on a resource exchange upon user authorization. The blocks include object codes that are programmed to build out any possible resource management strategy. The invention may also suggest or recommend thresholds, and other templates that allow for customization.

  • Publication number: 20210081281
Abstract: Responsive to a request from a user device, a content server may perform an electronic discovery function. The request may include information on a quantity of data objects desired from a collection of data objects stored in a repository. Objects stored in the repository may be managed by the content server. The content server may determine a number of batches and process the collection of data objects into batches, each having a batch size. An efficient selection process may be determined and utilized in selecting data objects from each of the batches such that a total number of data objects selected from the collection is not less than the quantity of data objects desired. The content server may make a disk image of the selected data objects and communicate same to the user device over a network.

  • Patent number: 10935151
Abstract: A solenoid actuator with firing pin position detection is provided. The solenoid actuator includes a solenoid assembly having movable armature. The solenoid assembly is mounted to a firing pin housing which houses a firing pin. The firing pin is arranged such that the movable armature acts upon the firing pin to transition it from an unfired position to a fired position. The solenoid actuator also includes a firing pin position switch is mounted within a bore that is transverse to a bore of the firing pin housing containing the firing pin. The firing pin includes cam surface that acts upon the firing pin position switch to ultimately provide an indication of whether the firing pin is in the fired or the unfired position.

  • Publication number: 20210034489
Abstract: A method of monitoring execution of computer instructions includes receiving data items representing real-time measurements of side-channel information emanating from execution of computer instructions, each data item forming a value of a corresponding dimension of a side-channel information vector, receiving, for two or more of the dimensions of the side-channel vector, classifiers that assign the corresponding values of a side-channel vector to classes, and classifying the data items in accordance with the received classifiers, wherein an orthogonal distance of the data item from the classifier indicates a confidence value of the classification, generating a combined a confidence value for the side-channel information vector a, and outputting a signal if a confidence value indicates affiliation to a selected one of the two classes with a predetermined probability. The method conducts a self-test by generating a combined confidence value based to ensure correct outputting of the confidence value.
