  • Patent number: 6767314
Abstract: The present invention provides a collapsible exercise apparatus, generally comprising a riser assembly, a carriage assembly, riser assembly support means, and peripheral attachments. The riser assembly further comprises a pair of parallel riser members and the carriage assembly further comprises a riser-engaging end. The riser-engaging end is received between the riser members in a carriage assembly-receiving track. The user may thus selectively incline the carriage assembly in the carriage assembly-receiving track in this operational state for exerting muscular effort against varying degrees of the user's own body weight resistance to achieve some level of physical activity or as part of an otherwise regular exercise regimen. To enable easy horizontal transferability, for example, during shipping or when not in use, the carriage assembly is easily nested within the carriage assembly-receiving track. Additionally, no tools are required to assemble or collapse the exercise apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20040122822
Abstract: A schema is provided that defines people, groups and organizations by their corresponding contact information and other related characteristics. The schema defines a person by personal data, name data, location data, and e-address data. A group is defined by group membership data and e-address data. An organization is defined by location data and by e-address data. The schema also defines role occupancies for interrelating the various contacts. The role occupancies are defined by role occupancy data that may include employee data, team member data, group membership data, family data, customer or business data, and other types of data that can link two or more contacts. By interrelating contacts based on role occupancies, the schema is able to provide rich querying of one or more databases for obtaining desired contact information.

  • Publication number: 20040074852
Abstract: The present invention relates to a telecommunications termination panel with a tray pivotably mounted within the front opening of a housing. The tray pivots about a hinge located adjacent one of the sides of the housing and includes a raised floor. The raised floor of the tray cooperates with the side adjacent the hinge and a bottom of the housing to define a cable path from a rear cable access port to an opening on the tray adjacent the hinge. The tray includes a plurality of connection locations and cable management structures to direct a telecommunications cable from the cable access port to a rear of the connection locations without violating bend radius rules. The tray may also include a temporary cable holder to assist in pulling cables through the rear opening into the housing. The present invention further relates to a telecommunications equipment rack with a termination panel with such a pivoting tray mounted to the rack.

  • Publication number: 20020156790
Abstract: Described herein is a schema extension of the Common Information Model (CIM), designed to model manageable aspects of a database server such as a Structure Query Language (SQL) server. The database schema contains a data file class that represents files associated with databases. The operating system also has a data file class, representing files that are managed by the operating system. An association is defined between the two data file classes, allowing queries to navigate between the database schema and the operating system schema.

  • Publication number: 20020116385
Abstract: A database schema includes database classes that represent various database objects (e.g., tables, views, etc.) and user classes that represent users and roles of the database. The database schema also has permission classes that represent permissions of the users/roles with respect to the database objects. The permission classes are modeled in the database schema as associations between database classes and user classes.

  • Patent number: 5772209
Abstract: A math game is described herein which can effectively improve one's math skills while being very entertaining. A game board has imprinted thereon a plurality of sections, where each section comprises a first set of integers assigned to a particular player. A player takes a turn by rolling a set of dice to obtain a second set of integers which are used in a math calculation to obtain a solution integer corresponding to an integer of the first set of integers within a predetermined period of time. The thus calculated solution integer can be indicated on the game board by covering it with a chip. The first player to successfully calculate all or a predetermined number of integers in his or her section is the winner of the game.

  • Patent number: 5771371
Abstract: A method and apparatus for increasing efficiency in displaying characters on a display within the data processing system. A plurality of processes for displaying characters on the display in a data processing system are provided. Each of the processes requires a different amount of processor resources to display characters on the display. One of the processes is selected such that the selected process provides a more efficient display of characters on the display than other processes. Characters may be displayed by caching font data in system memory of the data processing system. Glyph bitmaps for a particular character may be moved from the cache to a graphics adapter utilizing a permanent move instruction available in the CPU. Characters are moved to the graphics adapter on a fixed scanline basis, either encompassing the entire width of the character or the entire string of characters on a line.
