Abstract: This document describes a light-sealing gasket with crossbar force distribution. The gasket can be used in an electronic device with a sensor package that is capable of transmitting and receiving signals and is positioned behind a display of the device. The gasket provides a shield between the receive signals and the transmit signals, prevents signal crosstalk, and protects the delicate panel layer of the display. Use of this gasket in an electronic device allows manufacturers to add more features to the device and enrich the user experience.

The apparatus comprises a biodegradable net bag with a biodegradable panel insert that is adapted to receive a biomass Suitable for attracting and promoting macrobenthic growth. The method comprises providing a suitable net bag, filling it with an appropriate biomass, deploying it in a healthy waterway until macrobenthic growth has become established, and transporting and redeploying it in a second waterway requiring remediation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for creating habitats for benthic macro-invertebrate organisms and fish are provided. The system contains a platform and woody material attached thereto. The platform also contains openings for trapping useful organic materials, such as leaf pack and wood, and tassels that provide additional habitats or attached the woody material. The system may be installed in a river, stream, creek, or other fresh water source. The platform may be substantially flat, or may be bent to form a hollow-tube-shaped structure, with openings at both ends of the structure. The systems provide habitat, places to hold on during high flows, places to trap useable organics such as leaf pack and wood and nesting areas to support macrobenthic organisms. The system can be placed into a stream channel to restore the stream or maintain healthy conditions in a stream.
