  • Patent number: 11068766
Abstract: Disclosed is a semi-rigid enrolment case for a smart card, formed by folding and gluing an envelope-like cardboard blank of the dimensions of the card. The case includes an electrical circuit printed directly on the cardboard of an inner surface. The circuit includes contact studs connected to a power supply interface and arranged to connect electrical contacts of the card to the power supply interface when the card is inserted into the case. A biometric sensor of the card remains accessible to the user when it is out of the case for making the enrolment. Through-openings are made in the cardboard on either side of contact stud lines and allow forming independent flexible areas, providing better contact between the studs and the electrical contacts of the card.

  • Patent number: 8086193
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for configuring a multi-network telecommunications terminal, which communicates with a number of telecommunications networks offering a plurality of telecommunications services. The terminal includes a plurality of interfaces for accessing the services offered. When the terminal accesses one of the services offered, via one of the networks, the following steps are performed: a) determining the type of network with which the terminal is in the process of connecting, b) activating the access interface associated with the service which the terminal is intended to access, c) requesting, at the level of the activated access interface, configuration parameters which are dependent on the activated access interface and the network in the process of connection, d) extracting, at the level of a module for centralizing configuration parameters, the requested configuration parameters, e) obtaining, at level of the activated access interface, the extracted configuration parameters.

  • Patent number: 7823188
Abstract: A system for accessing a packet-switching network (4), which is adapted for the use of a simplified signature method. The system includes a supplementary server (60) which is independent of a proxy server (50) of an access provider (12) and a simplified signature module (66) which is provided in the supplementary server (60). The proxy server (50) is equipped with an interface (64) which enables the connection of the proxy server to the supplementary server (60) and the transmission of at least the authentication requests sent by contacted service providers to the supplementary server (60) in order for the requests to be processed by the simplified signature module (66).

  • Patent number: 7721326
Abstract: An authentication server automatically selects one of plural authentications identified by authentication identifiers to authorize access by a user to a service dispensed by a service server of a provider identified by a provider identifier via a communication network. The server includes a module for selecting an authentication identifier in a memory as a function of the provider identifier and the type of the terminal and/or the network type of the communication network, and a module for authenticating the user by launching an authentication process associated with the authentication identifier.
