Abstract: A process is described for producing mouldings from plastics by coating a moulding on one or more sides with a lacquer system, the lacquer system being composed of a binder or a binder mixture, optionally a solvent or solvent mixture, optionally other additives usual in lacquer systems and optionally a thickener, and use can be made here of polymeric thickeners at from 0 to 20% content and oligomeric thickeners at from 0 to 40% content, in each case based on dry film (components a, c, d, e), from 5 to 500 parts by weight, based on a), of an electrically conductive metal oxide powder with a median primary particle size of from 1 to 80 nm and a percentage degree of aggregation of from 0.01 to 99%, from 5 to 500 parts by weight, based on a), of inert nanoparticles coated [sic] in a manner known per se and the lacquer cured.

Abstract: The invention relates to water-dispersing plastic bodies made of a plastic substrate, at least one water-dispersing, inorganic coating (a) and an adhesive promoting intermediate layer (b) which is arranged between the plastic substrate and the inorganic coating. The invention is characterised in that the intermediate layer comprises two polymers (A) and (B), whereby water on one layer of the polymer (A) forms and edge angle which is smaller than or equal to 73° at 20° C. and water on one layer of the polymer (B) forms an edge angle greater than or equal to 75° at 20° C.

Abstract: The invention relates to water-dispersing plastic bodies made of a plastic substrate, at least one water-dispersing, inorganic coating (a) and an adhesive promoting intermediate layer (b) arranged between the plastic substrate and the inorganic coating. Said coating can be obtained in such a manner that the intermediate layer applied is (b) made of a mixture with a compound which has an evaporating number smaller than or equal to 20. The sum of the layer thicknesses of the inorganic coating (a) and the intermediate layer (b) is 07 ?m at the most.

Abstract: The invention relates to coating agents for producing rigid coatings resistant to scratching and soiling which contain: A) 1-30 mass % polymer produced by free radical polymerisation of a mixture containing A1) 1-10 weight parts of at least one sulphur compound containing at least 3 thiol groups and A2) 90-99 weight parts of alkylmethacrylate; B) 0.2-10% mass of at least one fluoralkyl(meth)acrylate having from 3 to 30 carbon atoms in an alcohol radical which comprises from 6 to 61 fluorine atoms; C) 20-80 mass % multifunctional (methyl)acrylate; D) 0.01-10 mass % of at least one initiator; E) 5-75 mass % of at least one solvent and F) 0-40 mass % ordinary additives. The rigid moulded bodies resistant to scratching and soiling and comprising a plastic substrate and scratching resistant coating are also disclosed.
