Publication number: 20230334709Abstract: The invention provides a method of lossless compression of a file of lidar point cloud data which have the steps of providing a file of lidar data, representing a predetermined number of frames of raw lidar data, with a set of objects identified and classified within the lidar data. Each identififed object in the lidar point cloud data is assigned an objectId to allow tracking of each identified object’s position in each frame of the point cloud data.
